Yeah, that's true, we can tune our bodies to anytime we may like. If we send a command to our brains before sleep to wake up at a precise time we want to wake up, it works.

I think some of us are just biologically wired to work better at late nights. I seemed to have overcome this by waking up at 3:00 am which is in the wee hours but still gives me some time to catch the sunrise.
