How has your Energetic Experience Changed with the Pandemic ?

This is my response to the latest @abundance.tribe's Bi-weekly question: How has your energetic experience changed during this collective experience?

I'm sure there's something of a shift in planetary consciousness going on, with people getting back to more authentic connectivity, both at a local and a global level.

'Social distancing' may mean fewer people being out and about on the streets, but social distancing only applies to other humans, so there's more space for nature, and I can't be the only human whose been enjoying the more visible presence of trees and the birds and so on, in the absence of so many humans.

My local park a fe days ago, empty but not empty!

And as to humans, I'm sure social distancing is creating something of a longing for more genuine connectivity with other people outside of those in our isolation circles - I get the feeling that this emerging norm of 'staying physically apart' is somehow making people feel more connected to each other - and creating more of a widespread longing for connection for the sake of connection, rather than just because of mutual self-interest.

If this crisis was engineered to mask an inevitable economic crash, and to make the population easier to control, I think it may have backfired.

I think instead people are at home, reflecting on what they really need and realising they really don't need work and money and consumer durables all that much, what they need is nature and people and connection for the sake of connection, and they don't need Governments or Corporations for that.

And people are coming together to help each other at the local level, while realising that the world over the same is happening, which seems to suggest that there is, possibly, something of a new counter-culture emerging around just being, and not around the usual cliques of non-necessity, maybe, hopefully.

Of course people who watch a lot of Television may not be getting this feeling, so I may be way out!

Sort:

I have loved the local support groups offering community, not so much the internet people who seem to suggest that every one are idiotic self serving assholes. A bit of a balance between both I suspect. I am not sure scales have tipped enpugh. But that's today. Feeling cynical.

I think the Internet perspective is just our bubble!

Very good point about the effects of this on people who do not ingurgitate massive loads of TV. Yes, we do need more nature and more meaningful connections. And if people realise this, they will be happier.

Switching off the TV is I think the number one thing that could increase happiness globally, that and spending less time online (ironically!)

No mate, you are spot on, this is the death throws of tyranny that most didn't even know existed, the more the hand is overplayed, the more the realization is taking place, big love to you man x

Hey cheers!

I'm hopeful! More people thinking about what they really need is what we all need!

I think the lockdown has given people time to think about what is going on. Of course the press and politicians will try to spin it, but people are appreciating their neighbours and the NHS more. Those shouldn't be bad things.

I have been loving getting paid to keep my distance, which could be partly down to the weather which has been pretty decent thus far this year.

Cans in the park, people optional :)

Not getting paid to keep your distance works pretty well too!

@trucklife-family here, I love your positivity here, it is so easy to focus on the negative, but where does that get us. Thanks for this wonderful response xx
