We are delighted to present another update to our recent work in support of our hive front-end blogging capability, which is one of the main focus areas during this last week and the recent few weeks as of the start of 2023.
Actifit Web V1.0.4 Out💥
The latest release of the actifit.io front end features several helpful new functionalities, as well as bug fixes, both aimed at improving the UI/UX.
- Beneficiary Support: We have incorporated into the post creation the possibility to setup beneficiaries to your posts. The UI/UX is live, and allows you through a popup to set in beneficiaries.
Clicking on the "Manage Beneficiaries" button will popup a new modal window that allows you to set in special beneficiaries to this post.
In a nutshell, beneficiaries are users who will earn a portion of the post's reward, depending on the percentage you allocate to them
The beneficiaries display will also be shown on editing posts, yet the screen will not be adjustable as you can no longer set beneficiaries after post has been created, so it will be in view only mode.
The Manage Beneficiaries button will show a number next to it in case beneficiaries have been set to the post
- Payment Approach: Our interface now also supports setting your payment approach per post. The options include payment fully in hive power (Full HP option), 50/50 split (partial payout in HP), and the decline payout whereby no rewards will be collected to the post. Screenshot above shows the payment approach setting.
- Tag Entry: We have appended a tag entry approach supporting the enter key, in addition to the space and tab, as we had requests to do so. So typing in tags, you can use the enter key to fill them in.
- Additional Fixes: We have implemented a set of fixes and conditional queries on the post creation screen, as well as extra fixes in support of keychain integration.
We also implemented a fix on wallet screen that was causing AFIT/AFITX on SE balance not to be displayed.
Upcoming Work 🚀
As highlighted last week, we have made good progress in alignment to our plans in terms of blog post screen and fully supported keychain via actifit.io web. We are still planning more features and tweaks to the UX as well as the other new screens added to the actifit web experience.
We are also working progressively with the 3speak team, and almost ready to launch our next integration with the team.
Additionally, some other major features include the new revamped social experience which we plan to launch in the coming couple of months, other login options, alongside a large scale list of functionality in the pipeline.

It is good to see the update.
There is an option on the web to "Create new post". If we make a post from there, will it be the same as posting from the mobile application? Or, it won't be rewarded?
