Actifit Updates - Actifit Web V1.0.7 Out💥Report Cards, Blogging, Settings & Other Improvements & Fixes

We are delighted to present another round of updates to your actifit web experience.

Actifit Web V1.0.7 Out

The latest release of the actifit.io front end features several helpful new functionalities and bug fixes, both aimed at improving the UI/UX.
Below is a list of the latest updates:

• Revamp of Activity Report Card Display: As we recently implemented the new blog layout screen for users, we have been experimenting with it and found that it makes sense to implement a similar display across the actifit activity report card display across the web experience.
  So as of the latest update, the activity screen, whether on the full list, or the user specific screen features the new layout of the report card, which includes both an image snapshot of the content, alongside a snippet of the report content. We believe this update makes the user experience much more engaging and intrigued to check the contents of the report.
  
• New Standalone Blogging Screen: As part of the new blogging experience, and while we had added support for a modal blogging display, we have now rolled out a full-screen standalone version that is accessible without the need to go through your blog screen initially.
  You can access the screen via your user menu by clicking on the "new blog" menu. It is a complete replica of your popup experience, just with an easier access and less risk of closing it out by mistake :)
  
• Menu Improvements: We have rolled out some cool improvements to the user menu, which we hope you will like, while also introducing/removing old links. Essentially, the menu now features icons next to the buttons, which we believe makes the visual effects much more user-friendly, below is an example from the menu. We also added the new blog button, as related to the new screen above, while removing the my profile link as it is accessible via the username at the top.
  
• New Settings:
  • As we recently introduced the new filtering buttons on the wallet page, and as per suggestions we received (thank you!), we have now enclosed those filtering functionalities as settings.
    As of now, you can decide upon the default value display for both the "hide low balances" and "show full list of tokens".
    This can be adjusted in 2 different places: on the wallet page right next to the filtering buttons via the new settings/gear button, but also in under your settings section

  • Default voting power setting: This feature was created from a usability perspective, so that curators who normally use a standard voting power can now add this to their settings to avoid adjusting their selection every time.
    This is also available in 2 locations; inside the voting popup modal as gear icon, which turns green when the setting is active, but also in the settings screen. We also added a restore default value button next to the gear which would reset any modifications you made to your default voting percent.

• Additional Fixes include:
  • fix issue with editing/updating posts that have beneficiaries
  • fix for creating posts with duplicate permlink
  • fix for permalink display in edit mode
  • fix for menu links not working properly on sub-pages

Upcoming Work

A lot more features are planned for the web experience to be released soon. We have also had plans for threads integration for a while, we are still waiting to get details from the @leofinance team to be able to kick off the integration.
The work with @threespeak team is almost ready, we finally were able to overcome some of the API limitations and we were able to process a video for encoding via actifit.io.
Additionally, some other major features include the new revamped social experience which we plan to launch in the coming couple of months, other login options, alongside a large scale list of functionality in the pipeline.
We have also been upgrading some of our servers currently hosting our hive RPC API which has been down for a while. We should be able to get it back up and running soon. The setup includes a HAFAH node (Account History node)
