Actifit Web V1.0.3 Out
Following last week's actifit web update and the keychain integration, we had to skim through several bugs which affected our user experience.
We identified several issues, and fixes were applied successfully across the last week.
Some of the issues included users getting logged out after using keychain login across various screens.
Another frequently reported issue was intermittent service down notices and inability to login.
We implemented several fixes and measures to improve our nodes, and following our testing, issues should be resolved.
On a bigger news, as we integrated keychain last week, we mentioned that the integration did not cover buying gadgets off the market.
We are happy to announce that as of today, you are able to fully utilize the keychain login to perform all activities across actifit.io web, including in particular buying gadgets via AFIT or HIVE, activating and deactivating gadgets.
This took extra effort due to the complexity of our implementation, yet we are excited to finally roll it over.
3Speak Video Encoding Node Live
As many of you are aware, @3speak team has been continuously working on expanding and improving their 3speak functionality, and further decentralizing their work as well as the launch of the spknetwork.
As part of this, they have launched encoding nodes to which anyone can participate.
As Actifit, we have always been supportive of 3speak effort and any effort that is in core beneficial to hive overall.
For this purpose, we have setup our own video encoding node. This goes in line and increases our involvement with 3speak, whereby we already run a validator node for spknetwork, but also following our recent integration with 3speak videos on actifit.io web, and our current work onto integrating video creation.
Kudos 3speak team, keep up the great work 💪
Upcoming Work
In addition to the above and the items highlighted last week, we expect a lot of tweaks will be coming to the post creation screen as well as the other new screens added to the actifit web experience.
Some other major features include the new revamped social experience which we plan to launch in the coming couple of months, alongside a large scale list of functionality in the pipeline.
Additional login options are planned as well highlighted in the proposal above..
