It is self empowering to boast of your own accomplishments. And I really am the shitest typist on Hive. I can only type on a full sized keyboard, while watching it with total concentration (and never looking up at the screen) and truth is I only use one finger and one hand 90 % of the time.
And when I do eventually look at the screen every second word is underlined in red, not because I can't spell, but because I can't type...
On my tablet trying to type using the touch pad things get even worse as auto correct buggers up nearly everything I try to say.
But for some reason I'm good at editing pictures with the very same finger that can't type for shit.
Sometimes I think it would work out better if I just communicated with pictures.

LOL I suck at typing on mobile so bad because I have all those dumb keyloggers off. With no auto correct you actually have to know how to type, life is hard.
i don't even attempt to type on a phone - i have a galaxy note with a stylus and i use it about once a week.
it's actually a pretty nice phone but i don't use it as a phone, just as a mini art pad

Less than 5% of a countries gdp could buy out any country, so if each country in the 5 eyes just paid off anyone who wanted tk dissent (much like China does donestically) from the status quo, it would probably last for centuries.
It would be so effective they could probably remove and reintroduce the internet as a new technology if they controlled the dialogue.

I can do 50wpm without having to look at keyboard :) - practically the first skill I picked up when getting into computers and it's serving me WELL.
The global crop of politicians - certainly the English speaking ones,appear to be robotic caricatures of humanity - drained of individuality through ambition/corruption/blackmail etc and dancing to these horrendous notes that most folk don't seem to have their ears tuned into (ears blocked by fear and the inability/unwillingness to act outside 'authority').
I often feel hopelessness and despair (and anger too!).
My optimism lies in believing that many many folk (and ever more so) are ready for a change - they fucking want it but do not know what to do and haven't seen it being demonstrated. Although this is invisible, action to change may be triggered by some unseen event to come as the 'net' closes in and more and more are pushed to the 'fuckit' point of dropping the FEAR that has held them back from action.
I consider it likely that such triggers will be enacted and more and more folk will start seeing the cracks.
I believe that the 'agenda(s)' will not succeed, but it often seems as if time is running out.

When I first started learning Photoshop 4 in 98 I was a shit typist then. And I have never improved much! I later lost a lot of motor control in my left hand due to injuries, and it really only does the shift key most of the time
