Why Don't You Just Airbrush It?

Why don't you just airbrush it?

Those are the words my friend said to me when asking if I could paint his son's new Helmet for his birthday.

I was like sure I can do that. Only have painted a couple masks and Helmet's before I was kind of worried it wouldn't turn out well.

Anyway here's a step by step and see how it turned out.

Starting with a new base helmet I sanded and then primed it for the airbrush art to begin. He wanted a walking dead theme for the helmet.

I first started with some lettering.

Next was working on some zombie like graphics.

Next step was to add his favorite number.

And some more graphics for the top.

Time to add some color to the artwork.

And now the fun part. We get to make it really pop!! It's time to make it shine with some clear coat.

And the finished product!! :)
