Within 24 hours, I drove a sealed coronavirus test-sample to the research dep. at the hospital, participated in everything related to the 22.5 SF on every platform and chat where it was being worked on and discussed. Got offered a new job related to what I was doing before deciding to go full-time on Steem a year and a half ago. Accepted it and thus also decided to move to a new city.
All to come back and see the whole Steem community rally against the hostile take-over and fight for the decentralized Steem that they believed in.
I guess the first lesson is that life can change very quickly. And no matter what you think of the situation you're in, things can change quickly.

For sure! But at least the whole crypto-space is talking about us again, so there's an opportunity in that ;). I don't have any hopes really for the Town Hall. It seems to be more of a place for witnesses to share their opinions and for Tron to listen.
I just had a meeting with Sun tonight (was 03:00 AM to 04:00 AM my time), and there's clearly been a lack of information given to them by Ned before the acquisition. Which is really serious. But there is now willingness to make tangible contributions to growing the Steem platform, which potentially dApps like ours could both benefit from. Perhaps there are ways to get Appics closer to the conversation too.
Anyways, crazy times idd. It's weird to be packing down and preparing for a move (to Oslo) while only thinking about Steem and not what life will be like in the new role. May need to take some time off to reset completely.
