120kg 5x5 squats, new PR! #getinshapechallenge

Squats have always been my worst exercise compared to the bench press and deadlift. It thus feels even better to smash my old record of 115kg that I set last week by adding another 5!🦵

Have to say I feared the worst on the last rep as my knees started caving in a bit early on the rep. But it's amazing how much more power you have to recruit of only you push yourself enough💪.

This will likely be my last video from the gym during the #getinshapechallenge. Only because most gyms are now starting to close due to the coronavirus 😕.

Would suck if that means I never get to do 1 more max attempt on the clean and jerk to see how much weight I can lift overhead (which was the challenge I had set for the competition). So I may either have to delay that another week or two, or just go with my last best attempt at 80kg. Which is unfortunate, given that it was done while still learning (and being really bad at) the movement.

Let's see what the last few days has to offer!

Got a typo in the description, the weight is 120kg, not 220! Not sure if I can edit that on Appics..m

@fredrikaa, Hopefully you will going to do that One More Max Attempt at your Home 🏡 Space. Unfortunate to know that Gyms are closing but what choice people have when the whole world is clueless about this New Threat for Humankind. Stay blessed.
