Up at just about four this morning, but I fell asleep around six thirty last night, so despite getting up and brushing my teeth, I got a serious night’s sleep...although, I can’t say I’m very good company on a Saturday night. 😢
Just the usual stuff going during the morning routine. Chatted over on Discord for a while, checked the crypto markets, hit the faucet, did some curation, la-dee-da. Bitcoin got some legs there for a minute heading back up over sixty thousand, but the volumes just aren’t there...crazy how long this has gone on!
The past several nights out kitty has brought home another:
He super friendly and talkative...was really considering giving him a home since he gets along so well with Bogart, but I posted a pic on the local town forum and he belongs to someone one street over.
We went and picked up Lady and headed out to the woods for our weekly hike. Was a Little chilly for my taste and I kept my hat on the whole time, but only a light jacket wasn’t too bad.
Totally scored the #AutomaticWin for the second day in a row, but then forgot to post it. 😡 Guess that gives me a reason to go for a third day...
Definitely overcast to start, but the Sun did poke through from time to time.
Not a bad morning to be out and about and enjoying the scenery. 😁
The woods are starting to awaken from their winter slumber. Lots of birdies chirping everywhere and the bugs are beginning to come out. Caught a nice big slug checking out this piece of wood:
The green is starting to pop as well. These weren’t visible at all a week ago! A bit of rain and warmer weather and boom!
Speaking of...saw this puddle that looked like it was covered in oil or something:
Got closer and it was thousands of tiny little bugs! I think it’s the snow fleas we only usually see against the white background...or in this case when they congregate:
The doggies had fun running around off leash...Dude took off into the woods a couple times, but came right back. He still wanted to do his running home faster than the rest of us, but he was better and listened when we told him to stop (mostly).
Got back and took Lady home and then went into town to do the grocery shopping. We drove all the way in, just about a block away from the store when we realized we’d both forgotten masks. 🤬 Stupid that we forgot and stupid that it’s a requirement, but we went all the way back home and then went back in again.
We did finally get the shopping done and put away, I grabbed a sandwich for lunch, and then we more or less chilled in front of the tube for the rest of the day. We were trying to find something to watch...saw a little bit of some Russian show, got bored and turned it off...watched several episodes of Dark (German), got bored and turned it off.
Wenche made some chicken and rice for dinner and then we ended up watching quite a bit of Cuckoo, not too bad, but jarring that they lost two main characters in the second season; the first season was good at least.
Tried to fight the urge to fall asleep early again, but I didn’t make it too long after dinner.
Yeah, I guess it’s kind of nice to have a calm day in my dShitty, but whatever. Seems like the SIM price went up a bit...people fomo-ing into third edition, I suppose.
What does come through, I just send over for Solairitas to stockpile.
Got my Holybread tasks done for today! 🏆 It was time to refill my potions and I had enough gold left over to bump one stat on one hero. Now we begin again.
Fallen back a bit in the ranks there, but I’m confident I will regain my number one glory. 💪
Well, today I got some bittering hops on CryptoBrewmaster, which I thought was the last ingredient that I needed. Turns out I still need yeast as well. 😢 Seems like it’s been a really long time since I had a brew...
Today was one of those days where I just keep playing Splinterlands in the hope that it will stop sucking, and it doesn’t.
Just kept playing and just kept losing. 🤬 Much worse off than when I started and got nothing to show for it since I couldn’t complete the daily quest.
