Sept. 28, 22: Routine, Walking, Teaching, TV, and Games

Fell asleep around nine thirty watching Golden Girls last night and slept until around six but ended up about forty minutes short. Wenche moved out to the couch at some point during the night, so I wasn’t woken up but kept waking up. 😡🤷

It wasn’t too bad, though, today and I even made it out for a walk (even though I had to cut it a bit short for time).

Not much going on during the usual morning routine, but I did get a hankering to complete some of the Well of Wealth challenges I’d been considering working on but had already spent quite a bit…Hopefully, it won’t be just this one go, hopefully having an epic of each type of item will be a challenge again. Although, right now, I’ve actually got most of them equipped anyway.

The wife has been making fun of me a bit having my alarm set every fifteen minutes to send the wombat back down into the mines…and it is pretty silly. So far for this season I’m making $2.19. 😂 However, that’s a crap load better than the five cents I made on each of the last two seasons! I won’t mention how much WAX/EOS I’ve actually spent to get this far (it’s a LOT more than $2.19, I will admit 😜), but I keep telling myself I still own the NFTs and, if I want, should be able to sell them later. I’ll probably just keep siphoning off SPS interest and sinking in here, though…🤪😂

Otherwise, just did all the normal morning stuff. BTC still just parked around $19k and HIVE still hasn’t recovered to even $.5 😡 Coinbase still hasn’t said anything about all the ETHW that’s there…I guess it’s my fault for thinking they’d support the fork and not deny users their funds (which I’m sure are theirs anyway…not your keys, not your crypto; I know better). 🤬

Got my post done, published, and shared and then started thinking about heading out for some exercise. I really should have gone right then, but I dinked around on Discord and playing WombPlay games and ate up a big chunk of the ten o’clock hour. Was a bit annoyed with myself, but was able to get three kilometers in.

Still sticking to the chillier side of things lately and I was bundled up again, but I think it’s supposed to get a little warmer this weekend…hopefully…

Spent the time brainstorming different ideas for Mythix…had several cool new ideas. Trouble is, I didn’t write them down! 😱 Need to try and think back to what all I was going over and see if I can remember.

Got back, had my usual sandwich for lunch and then got a shower and headed in for class. I was about ten minutes or so late out the door again, but the traffic was fine and I was set up on time, no problem (ten minutes late still means ten minutes early 😁).

Was a relatively easy class insofar as we didn’t really look at any new material, just reviewed for the chapter exam. It’s pretty short, only fourteen questions, so we did basically two examples of each type of question and called it good. We got out early, but a student stayed after and I helped them with something they were stuck on until just about the proper end of class time.

The drive home went smoothly as well and I was home with a good hour or so before Wenche finished with work. She’s been sick the last couple days, so she was working from home and didn’t feel like making anything when she was done, so I had some pasta and fried ham for dinner.

Pretty much killed the rest of the evening playing games (not Splinterlands though he realized later) and we put on Golden Girls for bedtime.

Well, is that a new one?! It’s at least a relatively rare one. Got an “economic crisis” today in dShitty, you know, just some unspecified reason to pay out less. I think that’s about on shittiness par with General Crime.

My Ego has started to grow again on Rising Star, so I switched to lessons for now.

It’s kind of dumb that you have to go to a completely different, unaffiliated site to see your card transactions, but from the Pizza giveaways I got a rusty trombone (nope trumpet 😛).

Once again, the sittening remains in force on HashKings. Honestly, it didn’t even cross my mind until just now. I really do need to get some work done on the website, though, so once I’m finally able to get myself motivated and sit down to work that will be the perfect time to waste life on this.

I got a couple more avatars and a bunch of BUDS from the Pizza giveaways, which continue to represent my only real progress in this “game.” Don’t really see the point…I can use the BUDS to roll joints to level up, so that I can roll more joints? Meh. I suppose I could try and sell the joints off in the market, but I doubt it’s worth the time and effort.

Between what I have played of Splinterlands and focus chests, I still don’t even have five SPS to be able to claim. 😡 One day left in the season and I’m at the bottom of Gold II? I give up.

I’d staked up the last few days worth of SPS interest, so I started leaving it liquid again to move some out in a couple days from now. Still haven’t done anything with the vouchers…not quite sure what I’m waiting for there. 🤔
