Trying out natural cosmetics - Face and body scrub

in #beauty2 years ago

In today's post I want to share with you an interesting experience I had recently - on my Instagram profile I was offered to get sent some face and body scrub samples by a Serbian natural cosmetics brand called Emily's Secret Cosmetics. They didn't ask me post about it or anything like that, but of course I shared it on my IG stories and in a post so I thought I would write about it on Hive as well. :)

Package arrived in a tin round box and nicely wrapped with a little bow. Even though packaging is not the most important thing, I have to admit that it is really nice to receive something this pretty and you can tell the person who did it put effort to make it presentable.

I had no idea about the shape of these scrub samples so I was even more surprised when I saw they look like miniature cakes and the second I opened the package, the divine smell started to spread and I was honestly tempted to eat them, haha! I got seven smaller face scrub samples and one body scrub sample. I tested out the face one the same day and it left my skin feeling super clean and clear - I mainly focused it on my nose area as I have stubborn blackheads. Even though blackheads didn't disappear, it helped reducing them which is always nice! Face scrub does leave a little bit of a residue but I feel like that's normal because these products are all natural and scrubs are made with natural oils in them. I still haven't tried the body scrub as I have one I am using at the moment but I should really test it out soon.

Overall, I am very happy with the samples I got and I am looking forward to order and try other products from this brand and other Serbian brands that make natural cosmetics. We have a nice offer and a lot of small brands which is amazing! Not only do we get a chance to use natural products that are so much better for our overall health but we also get to support small business.

Thank you for reading! Let me know if you have ever tried natural products, what are your experiences with it? Or maybe you make some stuff yourself? :)

They look more like sweets! I easily confused them and ate them for chocolates! Protect your family, do not keep them in a bowl Haha!

Haha, yes, they really do look like sweets! :)

I put them in a bowl just to take photos, now they are safe and away so no one would confuse them for sweets. :D
