Ok... I have a trail of dust downvotes on my comments from blurters for months now. They are dust, so they shouldn't matter as much... but:
- they clog up the chain unnecessarily
- on some front ends (hint: @Ecency), I carry a stigma on my comments
and that's becoming tiresome.

If, when I come back from my vacation, the trailing dust downvotes are still around, I'll create a bot of my own to downvote all spam content (that's ALL of their posts, since we are talking about dozens a day) from @blurt.media. They are already at a negative reputation on Hive as are most of my dust downvoters (who still created content on Hive to be downvoted by anyone), but they'll earn even less rewards. I'm pretty sure they still earn plenty of tribe rewards, but hey, who am I to stop them by myself, right?
The tags I've seen them use in the last 24h were: #BBH, #FUN, #NEOXIAN, #POB, #SPORTTALK, #meme, #waivio, #dice, #pepe
Just in case people in those communities are interested...
There you go! You have your two weeks! You have plenty of advance warning. Make your choice! Maybe you like downvotes after all! But weren't you there on blurt against them? Or you think that by using them here you can convince anyone how great is life at your end, when you're milking tiny (or perhaps less tiny, in tribes) rewards here...

There are two possibilities:
Downvoting with dust may seem harmless, but when it becomes a pattern, it turns into noise that pollutes the platform more than it protects it.
They have no interest in protecting Hive. They all left. I think they thrive on polluting Hive.
It sounds annoying to deal with. They aren't even here on the chain for most of them, so they probably don't care that much. I'll just stand by and watch to see what happens.
Yeah... the pains of the uncensored world. Great benefits, but you have to put up with some nasty things here and there. Although... some nasty things seem to be self-inflicted.

Oh well... I guess they probably care about rewards since they continue to shitpost so often on Hive. Unless that's a way for them to dump sh*t on Hive.
I am getting their downvotes for a long time. It's shocking to know that ecency was adding a disclaimer for obvious spam upvotes of less than dust. A problem with the frontend as well.
Maybe they should add it after 2 cents of downvotes.

For some reason, Ecency removed that mention briefly some time ago, but soon after it was back.
If content has downvotes and it passes certain threshold then low rating message shows up, it is all programmed into UI. Some of your comments which doesn’t have much downvotes you can see message doesn’t show up. Hope it clarifies how it works

For pob, arranging null rewards will be easier as there r many POB top accounts in antiabuse as well. Also, frontends/tribes have centralized control to remove all rewards.

Ok... Then that's simple for you: stop following his downvote trail. If he's the reason for that, he has started and hasn't stopped it (although the reason for starting it probably went away) months ago. So... yeah, I'm not acting on impulse, quite the opposite I'd say!
