It finally happened - Twitter suspended my account for "misleading and dangerous" content

in #censorship3 years ago

While I have maintained a presence on alternative platforms like Minds, Parler, Gab, Flote, Ruqqus, LBRY, Bitchute, 3SPEAK, NewTube, etc - Twitter remained a good source to follow doctors, scientists, journalists, even some dissdents, despite its foundational flaws as a centralized platform with a tendency towards censorship. Over the past year, Twitter has ramped up its censorship efforts, silencing countless voices for wrongthink, even larger, indisputably high quality accounts.

And now, it finally has happened to me, even though I'm just a small account (only around ~1200 followers on Twitter). Here is what I finally was suspended for: https://imgur.com/a/BEOlZdz. As you can see, nothing misleading or dangerous there, and in fact, it's all supported by widely documented peer reviewed literature and even acknowledged by many official health authorities. It just happens to be an opinion inconvenient to the narrative and agendas being pushed forward a la WEF/UN Great Reset/Agenda 2030. That's the tweet, that's the crime.

According to Twitter, the account is to remain suspended indefinitely unless I agree to delete the offending tweet, in which case the account would remain suspended for 12 hours thereafter. In this scenario, I could still access the feed, direct message people, but not like or tweet/retweet anything. In the event that I appeal the suspension, which I have, the account is completely blocked with no access to the feed or anything else whatsoever.

I suspect they will not reconsider the suspension, although I would love to be proven wrong on that. Despite all its flaws, I was still able to reach a much larger audience there than anywhere else.

I will continue to post on the alternative platforms, including uploading censored videos on LBRY, Bitchute, 3SPEAK and NewTube (same username everywhere).

THEY (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube et all) certainly seem to be "in this together".

So it will be up to us to "stay safe" (from large centralized platforms) by leading the way towards a re-decentralization of the internet.
