Hello, all! Today is the last holiday for the kids, they are returning to school soon, once again. But it does not mean nothing is happening in Bangladesh, life is still moving on! All liquid SBD will still go to the @SchoolForSDG4 project but the STEEM power will stay in my (@lindahas) account. For maximum results, visit the @SchoolForSDG4 page and support the project through there!
Here is the @SchoolForSDG4 page
These pictures, for today, will be from the previous weeks as school is out. Still, I would like to raise some funds for the kids. As we have gotten an update on payouts, I would like to ask if anybody understands the new proportions? From the last week, I sent the SBD and STEEM to the school but the SP stayed with me. Have the proportions changed to 1/3 for each currency?
Also, I have had some trouble throwing the gif in the post, right where the end of the post is. It either does not show up at all or just gives me a link when I update it. It shows me that icon that you see when the picture could not load.
As you might know, there were some exams taking place a few weeks ago. I forgot to write about these. The results were also already published, in the monthly mothers meeting. Most of the regular students passed even though some of the less frequent kids were absent. Overall, our little ones are doing good and are enjoying their holidays. Next week, however, you will have fresh pictures to look at!
Al-Amin's family got their monthly 18.75 USD last week, before EID. As you might remember, it is the money the family needs to not send Al-Amin to work. I know I have repeated myself way too much on this matter. But I still think I haven't done it enough. Kids in Bangladesh often work. And not from teens, when we usually find our first job in a store or whatever, they do hard, manual work. And we all know what manual work does to a body, especially when you do not go to that safety training. We might laugh and say that safety training are for suckers, but truth be told, all of us listen to them at least a little bit. Plus, they really tell you what kind of back issues you will have if you carry something wrong. And those are nothing to kid about. So imagine a twelve-year-old carrying a sack full of potatoes for 10 hours a day...
All the pictures are recent and provided by @azizbd, any questions about the project can be resolved with him, he will be happy to answer any questions if you are interested to help this project and have any idea about how to make it better. Heck, he will even get up at 4 AM in the morning just to talk to somebody about ideas. Here is a link to his steemit chat: https://steemit.chat/direct/azizbd
If you would like to contribute by making a post, you can contact Mohammed ( @azizbd ) and he will provide pictures for you, anyone spreading the word is welcome. The income from the post can be sent to @schoolforsdg4, if you think you deserve any Steem for your hard work making a post, keep a dime, even a small donation from your posts means a lot to those kids.
If you have any Steem to spare, donations are welcome. @schoolforsdg4 is where you want to send them.
If you can't spare any Steem, because I know everybody has their lives to live and expenses needed to be covered, a simple upvote is very much appreciated, a resteem is encouraged. :)
Not all funds from this post will go into the school account. The SP will stay on my account so if you want to leave maximum impact, head over to @SchoolForSDG4.
Wishing you an amazing day! Today, tomorrow, and forever.
Linda
