Those who Fear God and put their trust in him are assured of divine protection as they sail through the turbulent waters of life. Servants of the true God in bible times did benefit from such divine protection. God has not change, and so does his promises. If we hold fast onto him, this promise can be applicable to us also. Yes, God can personally say to us the words of Isaiah 43:2 ;
When you pass through the waters, I will be be with you. [Isaiah 43:2]
