Looking at the trailer, I do get the vibe of "cardboard copy" to make a "quick buck". Not hating those kinds of movies though, because there's a reason they're being made. Not all will be masterpieces or artsy I guess and that's ok.

I also only watch these kinds of movies (Romcoms included) just to "kill time". For more creative and artsy movies I'll definitely take my time.
Lol yeah she normally doesn't take on roles unless it's really good,maybe it was a contract she signed or needs the bucks I don't see why she would do a movie like this
Lol she probably took up most of the budget, she doesn't come cheap, I havent seen her in an action movie since Salt so you really had to convince her to come back on screen

I wouldn’t be surprised if they just plug shit into movies that pops out if an algorithm. There’s not a lot of creativity anymore, with all the ridiculous remakes and shit.
It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and watched a movie, hoping to get a bit of time in December to relax a little bit and check a flick or two out! Just finished the avengers this year so I’m dabbling a little bit here and there in the cinema stuff.

Yeah I guess they there to keep the ball rolling and keep the money coming into the studios so they can fund the bigger more ambitious projects

Yes... or like an airplane flight like you've mentioned, although most airplanes have outdated and mainstream movies.
I watched it a while back, it wasn't it for me.
I had to skip through many scenes because it felt boring to me and it wasn't anything new but I liked the ending at least.
I get you, it does seem to drag in some points and goes In circles like when they were hiking and then had to turn back seemed pointless
I actually wanted them to explain the ending instead of leaving it so open I wanted a conclusion
They are lucky they used Angelina because that was the reason I finished it.

Felt like a low budget movie that just needed a star to attract people so maybe she was paid well.
