We are all living though a world wide pandemic so there's nothing better than watching a Netflix series that's all about a post-apocalyptic Europe that included wars microstates where you follow the main characters and watch them fight for survival as a greater threat looms over the continent.

The series takes place in year 2074. In the wake of a mysterious global disaster, war rages between the Tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe. Three siblings, iano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confurius) and Elja (David Ali Rashed) from the peaceful Origine tribe are separated and forced to forge their own paths after being tacked by the Crows, a deadly tribe who are searching for mysterious futuristic technology that will give them the advantage in tribal wars.

As most of these stories go the Elja finds this technology in a shot down ship which triggers the whole plot line. The reasons why or how European countries no longer exist in this series is never really fully explained. The characters keep referring to a “Black December”, but no one seems to know what happened. All 'advance technology' such as smartphones and computers have disappeared so the show tries to imply that without it society will devolve into a bloodlust gladiator filled waring state.

I don't want to give too much of the show away because I enjoyed watching it. I see it as a blend of the 100, mad max and a bit of the hunger games. The first two episodes are a bit cringe, but that't the kind of TV I like. The plot is fairly predictable and you have plenty of character stereotypes and arcs, but that's what you are signing up for with these types of shows. I

It's rated TM-MA and has plenty of realistic violence and some sex scenes so probably not good for kids or young teenagers.

I rate this 8/10.

I haven't heard of this, but I am definitely going to have to check it out. It sounds a lot like that show Revolution that was on a short time ago but didn't last very long. There is so much stuff on Netflix that I haven't had the time to dig into yet.
