Fred Neil: Bleeker & MacDougal:

Before Bob Dylan was famous, around the time he made his deal with the Devil, he lived with Hugh Romney Jr. (aka "Wavy Gravy") upstairs from the Gaslight Cafe at 116 MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Between the basement coffee shop & the apartment was a bar called Kettle of Fish, where Dylan hung out with sleazy manager Albert Grossman, and many other '60s musicians ("the Office"). You find a tight-knit little nexus of individuals at this place & time. Wavy gravy later becomes the emcee at the Woodstock festival. Many of those musicians died young, what in hindsight appear to be satanic human sacrifices. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gaslight_Cafe see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kettle_of_Fish_(bar) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerde%27s_Folk_City and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wavy_Gravy and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Dylan . Note how the late Fred Neil spends his later years down in Florida studying dolphins, a-la (LSD guru) Dr. john Lilly -- Roman Polanski was working on Day of the Dolphin in August 1969 when his wife Sharon Tate perished in the Manson murders (his alibi). Last day of shooting Day of the Dolphin was same day as the Manson murders (Polanski claims to have been in London). My theory is that Polanski filmed the Manson murders as a snuff film, and Manson's "family" was the film crew, tricked into participating in a horror film, while Hollywood elites committed the slayings. This is the real reason why Polanski skipped bail, and remained a fugitive in Paris the rest of his life.
