CryptoVerse Game Plans (Devlog #0)

in #crypto4 years ago

Hi guys! Pika here, showing off some plans for CryptoVerse

Quick overview of CryptoVerse:

CryptoVerse is a Discord bot game that simulates crypto mining. A few years ago, an initial version of CryptoVerse was launched. CryptoVerse was a crypto mining game where you are able to purchase virtual mining equipment, and get rewarded with virtual crypto coins that you could exchange for more mining equipment. Since then, a newer version of CryptoVerse was made with different mining mechanics than the first version, the bot removed some features and added more like a better shop, etc. Now, CryptoVerse v2 is in the making and will be a revolutionary Discord bot game, and I'll post stuff on this blog related to the game, like devlogs, updates, polls, and announcements, so stay tuned, click that follow button and leave a tip.

My plans for v2:

The bot will keep the core gameplay, such as shopping, mining, and upgrading, but eventually that gets boring, so in v2 there are some features planned that make the game not as much as an idle game anymore and more like mining IRL, including miners breaking down, viruses, electricity, and more. Instead of having a set of coins, miners, and equipment that has been setup by the game admins at the start of a game season, v2 will have the popular currencies set like BTC and ETH, and CVC (cryptoverse currency), but users are able to trade in a p2p market where they can exchange and trade for CVC. CVC is used as a main currency inside of the game, can be used for governance/voting, and you can create new coins, coin hashing algos, and mining equipment inside of the game. v2 will also have a market like mentioned before, where users can trade coins, hardware, and special items like a cryptocurrency exchange.

When is v2?

v2 is currently planned for 2021, with slow updates coming to the game. The bot is currently not working, meaning no players are able to play the game yet
