Delegation reward update after HF25

in #delegation3 years ago (edited)

Hi, All,

Thanks for your support to @hive.curation. After the Hive Hardfork 25, the curation reward received has been reduced significantly due to the implementation of linear reward. After paying the 16% APR interest in the past 1 year, this service is no longer sustainable. To keep this service running, the following changes need to be made:

  • Delegation reward will be reduced from 16% to 12% APR, for now. This change will be reviewed, the APR may be increased or decreased, depending on the amount of support from delegators and the community. The way to support this service will be further described below.
  • To support this service, if you still post on HIVE, you can support this service by set @hive.curation as one of your post's beneficiary account occasionally. More details about setting beneficiary account can be found at https://hive.blog/beneficiaries/@steemitblog/new-beneficiary-features-on-steemit-com . @hive.curation will prioritize using its hive power to support the high-quality content authors/producers, who support this service.

The above changes are effective immediately.

Anyone delegating to this mindless front-running and maximization after the hardfork needs to really rethink what they're doing for Hive and their own investment. Not to mention a random anonymous person being in charge of it who has shown in the past he'd use delegators stake to downvote other minnows just cause they didn't agree with the maximization and literal vote selling to delegators. Can't imagine how he must be abusing the stake now with linear curve to get a profit off of it.

Disagree.

Yeah cause people give a shit about your opinion.

Did you stop abusing tipu? Aww

And in your opinion who would be a good acount to delegate to in order to generate a similar yield @acidyo ?

I believe @ecency offers the best returns at the moment. Other than that there's curation projects who take a small cut for their work such as @curangel or my own project @ocdb.

Ok. I'll check those out.

You can check leofinance too.

Thaks your upvoted!! Have a nice day.

Thank you for the article.
