Making It Back To Happiness

Wow.

No wonder I feel tired sometimes. With emotions going up and down like a rollercoaster, it's exhausting!

However today I am feeling good. Two days ago I was pretty bad. Yesterday was slightly bad. Today I am back to feeling good.

Let's have a look at things I think might have helped

  1. Expressing it - I did speak to my girlfriend about how I felt. Not the full strength version. But some of it. Sharing it on here might have helped too.

  2. Being ok with not doing anything - Whilst I don't like holding my own pity parties, I didn't beat myself up too much for not going to the gym or missing a meditation session.

  3. Trying to do some of the good habits - The things that I tried to keep going were: making my bed, the having it all program. Two days ago I'm not sure I did any of it but I did yesterday.

  4. Completing some projects - Now I have trouble with this at the best of times. I guess the difference was just attempting to do 30 minutes of a project each day, regardless of the actual achievement. This is due to the goal is the time not the production.

It's less than a week ago since I wrote a post about coming out of sadness so it seems a little bit mental to have gone down and back up in less than 6 days.

But if you are feeling similar. Hang in there.
