Hi, guys!
Today I have had a very busy day. Firstly, I came to a psychologist for an examination, and everything seemed to go well, although I’ll find out for sure only on Tuesday. But my doctor said that everything was fine beforehand, and so far I remain within the framework of my diagnosis.
It's Friday night, and I don't want to overload this post with any information, but I have some funny videos of my dog that I shot during the week, and I will gladly share them.
Someone may remember that in my previous post I mentioned that today I will go to a manic depressive support group meeting for the first time. I was very nervous, on all occasions at once, but in the end it turned out that I was nervous for nothing. Everyone was very friendly.
There are 12 people in the group and a psychotherapist. The psychotherapist acts as a conductor. First, we introduced ourselves in a circle, and some participants voiced some requests, and then everyone collectively discussed them. This was my first such experience, and I really enjoyed it. One of the key points is that for the first time I felt that I was among people to whom I could say many terrible things out loud without worrying that they would be shocked.
I will definitely need some time to learn how to interact in this way, but this is a very big step forward for me.
