Down with Divine: Waiting

"Well? Divine, are you listening?"

"Sure, When is my mom going to be here." She worked about 20 minutes away.

"She said she was leaving about 10 minutes ago." So, I was out for at least 10 minutes. I wonder did that mean I had a concussion. How did they know what happen so quickly? Why hasn't an ambulance on the way if I was out that long or at least the nurse? How could I make my eye stop hurting?

I sat waiting. No point in saying anything more. Once mom was here I would tell my side and I would probably be expelled for life. The waiting is always the hardest part. Trying not to let the insistent thoughts in my head out. How could they allow this to happen? Why were they blaming me again?

Clearly, I was the one the blamed. Brad only got two days of suspension. Probably, the first time he got caught. But still, the first time I defended myself it was three days In-School Suspension. He will have a great vacation from this place. Wish I would be so lucky.

Brad walked out of the office still with that completely puzzled look on his face. Once he figured out that he could beat the crap out of me with impunity. It would just be one more thing to look out for at school.

I've had enough of this place. That doesn't matter though. It's not like there was another school I could go to. Or that would take me with the reports this school would pass on to them. I had begged my mom to change me over to any school, home school, or online school. Anything but here.
