Celebrating Mom's Bday πŸ’–πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸŽ‚

in #family β€’ 2 years ago

Yesterday was Mom's birthday and it was such a good feeling to have her with me. After more than 15 years I got the opportunity to celebrate her birthday with me together. She stays with my Sister in a different city, so over the years it has not been possible to be with her on her birthday, but this year since she is with me in Muscat I got a chance to celebrate her birthday.
My hubby arranged a small celebration for her just with the 3 of us. Mom does not like too many people around and she likes to be by herself so we decided to just keep the celebration between the 3 of us and not have anyone more. We called for a Cake and then hubby made a sumptuous meal for us. Evening we decided to go for a drive around the city and also relish on some Indian savories. And then later we went for a movie, it was a comedy fun movie, so in all the day was well spent and she was also very happy. Since last 2 years she was continuously indoors due to the Covid scene. Considering her health situation my sister would not allow her to get out of the house, so she feels much better with this break and being outdoors.

She has turned 78

Some sweet moments to cherish with her

She will be here with me for another month and a half more and I need to make sure that she has a good time as well as I make the most of her presence with me. Once she goes away then again I do not know when do I get to meet her, Nowadays everything is so unpredictable that you never know what happens next. The Covid times has taught us many lessons and the most important is to value and cherish the time that we have at hand and never take anything for granted.

Life gets beautiful when we have our loved ones with us. I am a very emotional type of person when it comes to my family and that's why when I am away from them I feel lost. Specially the last one year I had too much of these emotional down moments when I was completely cut off from everyone in another country. At this moment I feel so grateful for these moments that I get to spend with my loved ones and wish that these could all freeze here.
As a family we had a wonderful time celebrating her Bday and she was also very happy, that's all me and my hubby wanted, to see her smiling.

Thank you for visiting my blog. πŸ‘ΌπŸ»πŸ‘ΌπŸ»πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸŒΉπŸŒΊπŸŒΈ

Happy Birthday to your mum. May she live long.

Thank you for your good wishes

Happy birthday to your mum. My mum does not even know her birth date 🀣🀣🀣

Thank you for your good wishes.
Yes, many old people do not remember their birth dates, then you can just make one day special for them and celebrate :-)

Planning on doing so πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š

Omg, what a nice post full of deep love to your family and Mom
Happy birthday to your Mummy, dear, she is a so kind-hearted person, and I feel it even through the photos.
I was in love with your Mum since I saw her in your photos for the first time, and you called her "my doll"...:> it touched my heart deeply. even don't know why...,aybe because I am very emotional when it touches family and parents questions too

and I am surprised you Mum still have black hair, wow
I don't know her age, but I think she is 60+, and at this age all Russian women have grey hair, and they dye it all the time. Actually first grey hair often appears at the age of 35+ even.
So I've noticed your Mum is still young, and she looks so nice

The cake is great
and can doest these symbols in the upper part mean? if it's not a secret..

p.s you are a copy of your Mum;> her eyes, her smile, now I see who has made such a great woman like you, dear:>

I am in love with your post!
Your mum looks so pretty. take care of her and May she live long. 😍❀️
