Egyptian geese at the Sea. Part 1.

This is where I saw them on the beach and they were taking a morning sunlight nap. Mom stood at the back of the lane keeping an eye on her sleeping family.

Part 1.

A family of Egyptian geese (Alopochen aegyptiaca), mom and dad and seven youngsters. Five girls and two boys.
Note that this is a 2 part post, as later today I will show you the youngsters in the surf.

Here is a closer look at the five girls and very cute methinks.

And this was the dad at the back with the two boys in front of him.

But here we noticed that the two boys at the front were missing.

Ah, there they were at the river inlet taking a drink.

But look how soon the girls came running to the river inlet.

Dad at the back and the 7 youngsters were now all at the river inlet.

But of course things didn't end here, as the one son was identified by us as the rebel in the family and soon after this he ran towards the sea. With of course the tribe of youngsters following him soon after.
But the mom took a feather (hand) and in the matter and soon peace was restored.
You will have to wait until part 2 later today to see the event.
