Traveling around Finnish Lapland area this week, was able to catch a few lights like these but still could not catch in a high intense form.
Today, I was sitting in a fin sauna naked at 90°C a couple hours ago, now waiting to see the lights outside with -17°C.
Life is weird.

It really needs hunting to catch it. I've tried a couple of times but couldn't. Enjoy the magical view.

I always had Lapland on my to-do list, to visit our Xmas guy. Now I have to add: Northern Light to it LOL
Btw, do you ever sit not naked in a sauna?
I remember one time I was in a whirlpool somewhere in Canada in some small ski town. In the snow this whirlpool was. I had to jump out into the snow, rolled over quite a few times and then jumped back into the hot whirlpool. It such an amazing feeling. No northern lights though.
