Hallo friends, today I want to make a second post in Hive Blockchain, how have you been?
At April my daughter turns three years old and was supposed to start visiting a kindergarden. But now we don't even know yet when the kindergarden be opened again.
At the moment like this, I must say that we are rather lucky to have a nice garden so that our little princess doesn't need to suffer that much for not being able to go to any playground.
She is only a bit confuse that she can't come closer and play together whenever we see any playmate of her during our stroll with her walking bike... or reverse, when we see any of them taking a stroll in our neighbourhood while we are in the garden.
But she seems not to mind at all that we have no birthday party for her this year. She is still just as excited and delightful as always to see the birthday cake and the little "Tumpeng" I made for her.
Well it's not a real "Tumpeng" actually. I just made a golden rice with some side dishes which normally come in a Tumpeng, a special dish for celebrating things in my country.
So... The first picture is the birthday cake that I tried to make and decorate personally. I am still learning to decorate cake so it didn't look as pretty as I expected 😁.
But the cake it self tastes wonderful. It's the famous Japanese Kasutera (castella) cake. It's very soft and light in taste.
You wouldn't feel like having consumed a high calorie cake at all if only I didn't add any frosting at all. In normal days I'd prefer serving it without any icing either.
I'll write the cake recipe in the next post.
My little girl loves fruit so much, especially physalis, so I fill the cake with joghurt frosting and decorate it with physalis and other fresh fruits.
This is what I called mini "Tumpeng". The side dishes are all vegan friendly menus except the fish nuggets.
Last but not least...
...the recently viral in the internet special desert from Korea: Dalgona coffee, Dalgona Matcha and Dalgona Cacao for the princess 😍😋😜. It's actually quite simple to make and they do taste good.
