Bikini Contest at Score Birds Hotel Clark Angeles City Philippines

I want to see all of the Philippines. The good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful.

Score Birds Hotel has the longest running bikini contest in Angeles supposedly. They say every Saturday it starts at 2 p.m. but it doesn't really start until around 3 p.m.

There are 10 candidates for the contest from each clubs in the area. They are wearing their best swimsuit with white top. White top bra has a purpose while wearing their best high heels. Before they start walking on the stage the guys sprays around their bikini and have a photo-shoot.

There are some games like tug of war and swimming contest. Dancing performances from the different clubs that compete against each other. When we were there it was ponytails, doll house, club atlantis and others. We think they have their club written on the back of their swimsuit shorts.

There is a drinking contest where two girls and one hotel guest try to compete as a team against other hotel guest teams. The contests are interesting and fun if you can hear what's going on.

They also had a scavenger hunt where the announcer would call an item that the girls will have to run into the crowd to find a guest with that item. For example, the announcer would say "handkerchief" then the girls would run into the crowd and the first person who had a handkerchief. He would give it to the girl. She would run back up to stage and get points for it then return the handkerchief to the guest.

The bikini contest has judges but the crowd can also vote by buying beads then throwing them into the pool for the girl they thought was most deserving. This was entertaining but some of the guests have very bad aim when they throw.

We stayed until the end and we picked a girl. We thought should win but she ended up taking second place overall. It was fun and i would highly recommend it to someone who has never been before. it is a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
