Had an incredible surprise tonight when one of our top ranked witness @themarkymark reached out to me asking how much HIVE I needed to pay my front end developer working on the new Hive-Roller.com GUI.
He'd won some more on the site tonight after a pretty wild session which ultimately lead to my greedy over leveraged ass getting decimated investment wise.. But Marky took some of his winnings and sent them to me in order to make sure that the site's front end development can continue forward. The @iPromote account in the image below is Marky sending me 350 HIVE in order to get the dev funds secured.
By doing this I was able to stop my powerdown as I no longer need to do so to pay my front end guy.. Allowing me to continue to stack HIVE in my account to charge up my upvoting weight. :D
A very kind gesture for sure! I've now got the HIVE sitting in my account off the Roller site so it cannot be won again and am currently waiting for word from my front end guy to say he's finished so I can pay him, do some testing and modifications to the site and release v0.8.0 for everyone to come check out.
Thanks to Marky for being a stand up guy and helping to sponsor development of the HIVE ecosystem. While some may not realize the weight of an action such as this it goes to prove that one of our top witnesses certainly cares about supporting small time developers on HIVE, which is amazing to see.
Certainly blessed to receive the support I do from a number of the top ranking HIVE witnesses and the community. Without you guys none of this development work would be possible and while the road to building the site has been incredibly lengthy as well as challenging we're getting closer to a full launch.
While the exact date of the next update patch v0.8.0 is still unknown from what I hear from my front end guy we're quite close to getting it completed, and after a closed door testing phase it will be pushed onto the live server which will dawn a new era of cross platform support for the site. Extremely excited!

That's really great for you. We need more sites like this that are unique, not greedy, and fair.
Getting quite excited about the whole project. Although it's technically been under development for a few years now in the past month or so it's taken leaps and bounds forwards. The userbase is growing and the amount of "regulars" has seen a sharp increase over the past few weeks. Also seen some record breaking betting as well.
My hunch is we'll see version 1.0 launch by end of the year.. But in the short term a new mobile friendly GUI, HBD and Hive-Engine token / multi currency support and the addition of more game styles is on the horizon.
Nice, maybe it's almost time for me to leverage up again.
