I have some updates from the summer #growfoodnotlawns garden here for you today. I haven't been on social media very much the last couple months, been enjoying 'real life' to the fullest, absorbing moments with my sweet family. Relaxing, reflecting, re-thinking, a lot.
I feel my energies shifting now, it's time to begin outward expressions again!

Looks good, it’s amazing how the veggies we get in the store are so different and weirdly uniform but when you grow they they do their own thing and also taste quite different lol we’ve been eating a lie
Growing food and trading are you nuts? Do you actually want people to be self sufficient and sovereign and not beholden to a government? This is terrorist activity lol

I've been following a lot of homesteaders and urban gardeners on Youtube and Instagram, @siloe brought me to Steemit a year ago.
I plan to do #GrowFoodNotLawns when I settle down in a year or so ;)

Nice crops. I only tried to grow a couple of onions but the experience was a complete failure. When I dug them out there were no onions, only roots. 😑
I wonder what I did wrong... the plants were looking so good and healthy. 🤔

I still keep chickens, they are doing well except I had a predator come and attack my 2 month old chicks last month, I am still trying to capture it.
oh really sad news.you should be more carefull against predator. i hope you do well all of your self jobs. becouse you are too hard working person as i think.
