Hello Fascinating Insect Lover..
Today I found a species of small butterfly that likes to rest on the ground, for some reason this butterfly prefers to stand on the ground rather than looking for tree branches or flowers like butterflies in general.
As for the butterflies I'm talking about are Prosotas, a genus of butterflies in the Lycaenidae family. Species from this clan are found in Malaysia and Indonesia, other sources also mention this butterfly can also be found in Australia. And below I have uploaded the photo, I hope you are interested and like it.
Beautiful photography on this tiny butterfly, we have Sooty Blue (or African Grass Blue) that are tiny and normally found on lawn. Perhaps one day I will be lucky enough to photography.
