Insects I found recently in our yard/Die Insekten, die ich vor Kurzem in unserem Garten erwischt habe

Well..., this time I really do post some insects picture friends 😁.

I want to apologize once more for my wrong post last time in our community. I will be much more careful whenever I use my phone in making a post 😅.
I took the picture using my HTC U11 and the location is in our back-, side- and frontyard.
I didn't use any extension for macro shots but I think they look pretty good, don't they?

@jaki01 told me that most tulips are not so insects friendly cos they don't have much pollen to offer, but it seems that the one I planted here seems to be quite appetizing to the bee. Its body is already so yellowy covered by pollen 😊😍.
The first three pictures are presenting a bee having a feast in a tulip flower.

Enjoy the pictures and have a nice evening, friends!

Very magnificent insects! I think not only the tulips, but all of the flowers in your garden are also appetizing to the insects. I can say that your garden is nice and friendly to these insects. That's why they look so healthy.

Oh! You had good eyes! If you didn't tell us that "the body of the bee is so yellowy covered by the pollen", I didn't notice it.

As I always said, all of the flowers in your garden are very beautiful, especially the white flowers. And I'm very happy to see a lot of the white ones with the bright blue sky at the background in the 6th picture. Really gorgeous! I would like to say a million WOWs for them now. Great capture! ;)

Thanks so much for sharing. Wishing you and your warm family have a pleasant day! ;))

The white flower you like is lilac. It's beautiful indeed, and very fragrant...but... Yes, there is a but 😅.
I didn't plant it, it's already there when we bought the place, otherwise I might have not chosen to plant it. Not that I dislike it, but this plant is too growing too massively. It can take over the whole garden if we don't manage to control it LOL.
If I am the one who planted it, I might have at least installed a root barricade to control it's spread.
But well...it's beautiful and we just don't have the heart to uproot it, so we just try to dig out every new plants when they cross the boundary I set for them 😁. It's already so big afterall.

Oh! WOW! Apart from beautiful, these white flowers are also very fragrant. I very much love them! ;)))

For me, it would be wonderful to have many of them in my garden... ;D (but, I think I have never seen this kind of flower in Thailand before.)

Ah! You have a very good heart....for not uprooting it! So, we can see the beauty of the flowers via your photo. And you have well managed to control it; dig out every new plants when they cross the boundary you set for them, etc.

Thanks so much for providing more information about these white flowers and how to manage it as well. ;)

😂😂😂. Es ist scheinbar so

A beautiful insect collection :) So now the whole Kobold family is running around the garden and taking photos of bugs, niceee :D Cannot wait for the restrictions to be lifted here so that I can join this insect photo party too :D

What do you mean with the restriction? You mean, the movement resteiction from the government?
Well yeah, are you not allowed to have a stroll in the nature? Here we are still allowed to go out to get fresh air and even to walk the dog, cos staying at home completely is not healthy either.
Going out together with the people from the same household is allowed too as long as we don't go to public places in a group for nothing important. Neverthless, I am looking forward to seeing your insect pictures soon.

Yes, I am talking about the pandemic related restrictions. It´s been very strict here on the Azores. It´s been almost two months since we could go out freely for the last time. Now we can only go out to buy food or medication. Hopefully just for one more day, I heard they are going to lift some of the restrictions from May 1st. I have been missing the outdoors so bad... :(

I can imagine that. They reduce thw restriction too here starting from the 4th of Mai but now there is an obligation to wear a mask in public places.

Well, we don´t have to wear masks here on the Azores (because we all have to be home :D) but in my Czech homeland, where I hope to get to soon, masks have been obligatory for at least two months already and they will be until at least July :/ Looks like I will be switching between places with some of the most strict measures in the world...

Stay safe and healthy guys.

These are wonderful. I am so ready for spring, and life. Bees, pollen, flowers in bloom. I've been in lock down for so long...thank you!!

Well... Many of us are looking forward to being carefree again 😊. In which country are you now living in, if I may ask?

I am in the United States, in the epicenter of the epidemic in this country, New York, and in the epicenter of the New York epidemic, downstate. Also, in a high-risk group so I haven't stirred for weeks. That's OK, I usually don't go out a lot anyway and my kids keep me (and my husband) well supplied. But still, the death figures, though decreasing, create a kind of cloud around everyone. And every now and then there is a death close by, so the temptation to go out is easily resisted. Not complaining at all, but I thought it might be interesting for you to get an idea of what it's like here in the epicenter.
How prevalent is the virus in your locale? Do you have a sense of immediate danger or does that seem remote?
It is these first-person accounts that some day will form a historical record (I'm a history buff and read an lot of first-person accounts. I find them the most reliable of all reports.)
Hope you don't mind the long answer--I have time :))
Stay healthy..good luck to all of us.

Da braucht man wirklich kein Makro. Ganz liebe Grüße Michael

Jetzt kommt wieder das Wochenende. Leider hat es zurzeit oft geregnet. Die spanische Wegschnecke sind am Marsch 😅😭. Meine kleine Sonnenblumen sind alle weg.

Oh das tut mir sehr leid. Das ist ja schade und Pech!

Trotzdem schönes WE Euch 3!

Michael

Wow beautiful flowers and nice photography

Thank you.

I think your tulips look delicious! Would be nice if the petals are edible!

I just know that some people eat hibiscus flowers in omelette!!

Great photos, and beautiful flowers in your yard!!
