Un mantenimiento inesperado (Spa/Eng)

Hola chicos ¿qué tal? Tiempo sin pasar por acá con una publicación debido a las ocupaciones diarias., Sin embargo siempre estoy al pendiente de la comunidad.

En la mecánica hay equipos y herramientas que son muy importantes y otras no tanto, cuando estos equipos que son indispensables para el día de trabajo se dañan y no es tan fácil reemplazarlos, todo se pone patas arriba, al menos este es mi caso. Trabajo en una rectificadora de motores y todos los pedidos por sacar se atrasan.

In mechanics there are equipment and tools that are very important and others not so much, when these equipment that are indispensable for the working day are damaged and it is not so easy to replace them, everything is turned upside down, at least this is my case. I work in an engine grinding machine and all the orders to be taken are delayed.

Recuerdo que era un día lunes veníamos con mucho ánimo y teníamos algunos motores por entregar a cierta hora, acordada con los clientes. El muchacho encargado de la lavadora la puso en marcha, todo funcionaba bien, hasta que a los pocos minutos se apagó completamente. Nos vimos la cara y nos preguntamos ¿qué rayos había pasado?

Yo como sé un poco de electricidad, me puse a chequear los breaker y los fusibles y noté que unos de breaker estaba caído, lo subí y encendimos la lavadora de nuevo y a los pocos minutos volvió a apagarse, volví a encender la lavadora y note que una de las dos bombas trifásicas que usa para llevar el agua a presión, hacía un ruido extraño, segundos antes de apagarse, así pude identificar cual era la bomba que fallaba y procedí a sacarla.

Quiero compartir con ustedes un poco del proceso de reparación y el servicio que se le hizo a la misma. Lo primero que hice fue sacar el agua para que el tanque quedará completamente vacío y así proceder a sacar las bombas y desarmar la que estaba mala.

I remember it was a Monday, we were in high spirits and we had some motors to deliver at a certain time, agreed with the customers. The guy in charge of the washing machine started it up, everything was working fine, until a few minutes later it turned off completely. We looked at each other's faces and wondered, what had happened?

As I know a little about electricity, I started to check the breakers and fuses and noticed that one of the breakers was down, I turned it up and turned the washer back on and a few minutes later it stopped working again, I turned the washer back on and noticed that one of the two three-phase pumps used to carry the pressurized water made a strange noise, seconds before turning off, so I could identify which was the pump that was failing and proceeded to remove it.

I want to share with you a little of the repair process and the service that was done to it. The first thing I did was to remove the water so that the tank would be completely empty and then proceed to remove the pumps and disassemble the one that was bad.

Cabe destacar que estás bombas son de marca FORAS, de origen Italiano, de excelente calidad y muy resistente. En su placa de descripción puedo destacar que la bomba tiene una potencia de: 3 HP (por su siglas en ingles Horse Power en español caballos de potencias), 3400 rpm (revolución por minutos), un voltaje de 220 a 380, y puede estar encendida de 36 horas mínimas a 64 horas máxima, es bi-turbo o sea, doble turbina para mayor flujo y presión.

Procedí a desarmarla en su totalidad, y noté una zanja en el eje del inducido gusto donde va el sello giratorio de la bomba, producto del roce constante del mismo.

I proceeded to disassemble it in its totality, and I noticed a ditch in the armature shaft where the rotating seal of the pump goes, product of the constant friction of the same one.

Se compró unos electrodos de acero E308l, para rellenar la zanja del eje, soldé en cruz para evitar que se torciera el eje y después lo tornié, en la siguiente fotografía pueden ver el antes y después y tambien el sello nuevo.

E308l steel electrodes were purchased to fill the trench, the shaft was cross welded to prevent the shaft from twisting and then I turned it, in the following picture you can see the before and after and also the new seal.

La lavadora es artesanal hecha a pedido de la rectificadora de color rojo, de aproximadamente 2.50 metro de altura y 1.50 metros de ancho con una puerta media cónica.

Un tanque en su parte inferior de aproximadamente 90 litros, en su interior un plato giratorio de 1 metro, con una capacidad para gira de 300 a 400 kilos y dos tubos de metal galvanizados fijos en cada esquina de 1 pulgada y una altura de 1,50 metros, con muchos agujeros con roscas donde van los picos con reducción para que el agua salga con mucha presión y una resistencia colocada directamente en el tanque para calentar en agua a unos 80° grados centígrados combinados con desengrasante son efectivos para sacarle la grasa a los motores.

El embobinado de la bomba fue llevado a un taller de embobinado para su respectiva reparación. Ya después que lo trajeron reparado, armé la bomba, le coloqué el sello nuevo, para hacer el ensamble completo y así luego de eso armé la lavadora.

Cabe destacar que la reparación del embobinado tardó cuatro días en llegar y durante todo este tiempo estuvimos lavando los motores a mano. También debo decir, que esto no es una lavadora doméstica, si no una especial para motores.

Fue un alivio armar la lavadora y ponerla a funcionar, ya que no tuvimos que seguir trabajando tanto en el área de lavado, si no que de esta manera todo sería más rápido. Por esto es importante el mantenimiento de los equipos con que trabajamos, ya que a veces no le damos la importancia que merecen, como siempre están allí y funcionan, no imaginamos todo lo que puede retrasarse por la falta de ellos, cómo lo fue este caso, con la lavadora.

The pump's winding was taken to a winding shop for repair. After it was repaired, I assembled the pump, put the new seal on it, to make the complete assembly and after that I assembled the washing machine.

It should be noted that the repair of the winding took four days to arrive and during all this time we were washing the motors by hand. I must also say that this is not a domestic washer, but a special one for motors.

It was a relief to assemble the washer and put it to work, since we did not have to keep working so much in the washing area, but this way everything would be faster. This is why it is important to maintain the equipment we work with, because sometimes we do not give it the importance it deserves, as they are always there and working, we do not imagine everything that can be delayed by the lack of them, as it was in this case, with the washing machine.
