A copper and gold Eye Makeup for green eyes

in MakeUp Power2 years ago (edited)

Hi Hive Friends,

I'm rictly excited to post in the MakeUp Power community right now, it's my first time here!
My name is Katrin, and I'm more in the Foodies Bee Hive and Haveyoubeenhere community, I travel a lot and love to travel. I've been thinking about posting in this community for a while, and now it's time:)

Lately I've been trying to improve my makeup skills and I'm already making significant progress, but it's not perfect yet, be gracious with me. That's why I'm trying more subtle makeups at the moment. I'm focusing on my eyes today.

Actually, it is said that you should either put the eyes in the scene or the lips. With me, however, it is so that my lips are naturally very very red (I think I just have a little thinner skin than others). Therefore, I would have to go according to this principle, which strongly emphasize my eyes. Therefore, I simply pass over this principle;).
Since I have green eyes (around the iris is a small brown circle), I have decided today for a copper and gold-colored eye make-up.

I use these utensils for my whole MakeUp:

Below I show you the individual makeup products again in more detail.

First I applied a lighter eye shadow to the lid, then a slightly darker one to the lid and crease. Both eyeshadows served as a primer. With my skin color (it is very light) I probably took a slightly lighter for normal skin. Then, at the outer corner of the eye, I started applying a darker copper-colored eyeshadow from the palette from the outside in, but no more than halfway up the lid. I then applied a golden eyeshadow to the center of the lid.
On the lower waterline and the lower lash line then also came the copper-colored eyeshadow, which became less and less towards the inside. Everything I have blended. On the inner corner of the eye I applied a very bright glittery eye shadow.
Then I still plucked my eyebrows and Augenbrauengel in the color blond aufegtragen, mascara on it and ready!

I know it's not perfect yet, especially in the picture from the side you can see that I still need to blend the eyeshadow better. But I practice the next time!

What do you guys say to the look of me putting gel in my hair? I think it fits to a glamorous outfit and occasion:)

See you next time!
