Abandoned pool "Rybka" Zurab Tsereteli

tka-VWZ7TYc.jpg
The abandoned children's pool in Sochi, or rather Adler, is part of a mosaic complex, the second part of which is Coral

Made in the early 70s from expensive Hungarian smalt, a kind of colored glass. The author is Zurab Tsereteli. Consists of two bowls - one large and one small. In a large bowl, there are voluminous sculptures of marine life. Colorful images are laid out in a small bowl of smalt

For more than 30 years, the pool has been idle and abandoned, gradually collapsing. But information appeared on the network that in the near future they plan to restore the pool.

Wow.... that is really amazing, even now.

Always such a shame when "they" let such a beautiful place go to ruin.

I hope they DO restore it.

They say that it was a pleasure for the children who were vacationing in this place to splash in this pool ..) I hope that someday it will be restored, or they would not let it completely collapse ...

The tile is really beautiful

I agree.)
