This property appears to be a prime target of arson attacks, as I see a report here, in April 2020 and then another just a few months later in August.
The second one brought it to may attention and so we targeted it for a visit. One of the reports states it has been empty for 'several years', and I read somewhere that it is due to be demolished imminently in light of the double attacks.
By now Tom Jones' Place may well be a huge pile of bricks and rubble. Did the famous welsh crooner live here famous for classics such as, 'Delilah' and 'Sexbomb'?
Unless Tom has ditched his singing for a building yard business, that is highly doubtful. The real Tom likely lives in some huge mansion, a little more upmarket than this wreck of a place.
We pulled up in the car park of a derelict pub next to Tom's place wondering if that would be our next non-scheduled target?
From the outset, it was never going to be an issue gaining access as you can see from this image, looking out from inside.
Burnt buildings can be a burnt wreck or if contained could house some interesting stuff. The reports suggest the fire brigade decided to use water and not watch it burn down, so there was hope.
A quick look around showed us that the upper floors had suffered the most with the downstairs mostly intact.
That's not to say it looked fine, desirable, and comfortable although you could sink down on this sofa that is mostly missing its' cushions.
I have been warned not to open fridges, or face the consequences of overpowering pungent fumes that could incapacitate you.
I never did listen; this one did stink but contained little to put me out.
The house is quite large, and so a B&B is plausible. So 'Mum' is a moneylender and provides these other 'etc services'?
One of the kids was having speech therapy. They must have had some young ones looking at this walker.
Upstairs was a little dodgier underfoot, but I had to have a look. The burning had taken place here for sure.
From here we moved into what we would shortly discover to be a builders' yard. This may have been the main business for Mr. Jones.
Once inside the grounds, the buildings, just like the house had wide-open doors.
The floor was saturated and in the top left corner of this room, a big leak was flooding it. We had to tiptoe to avoid our shoes from getting drenched.
You can see the water leak here.
Tom has left a lot behind in here, parts, paperwork, and all sorts of nick-nacks.
Do you think this is a polite notice?
They do seem to be listening, the employees that is...who are doing partly remote jobs. What kind of Job Name is 'Emmanuel'?
Up the stairs usually means the offices and this was the case.
Someone liked to keep fit and made this scrapbook of American Football articles. This is not a popular sport in England.
The toy tricycle was cute though I have my doubts it's a Corgi product.
You should not leave old cheque books around Tom, not a great idea.
Not a bad explore, even though we had to tolerate some kids who infiltrated the house while we were in the builder's yard area.
They quickly cleared off when they spotted us. Why are kids attracted to places like this?

The polite note was politely not polite haha
More a direct blunt one!
That’s a bloody good mooch! Lots to rummage through, love the Tuk tuk too.
I wonder where the pasty faced lethargic fucker and his mate the motorway mauler are now?
Sounds like a perfect tag team for the WWF, still reckon they would bet slaughtered by the bushwackers though.
That pigeon hole desk probably worth a few bob, it’s very nice
Who knows where any of these lot have gotten too? I reckon the place is bricks by now, the fire brigade have probably got tired of it.
Yeah, they definitely targeted the upper floors with the fire bombing on that one. perhaps someone chucked a Molotov cocktail through one of the upper windows. I had to get speech therapy when I was a kid. That is a profession where they tend to do really well for themselves.
Double cocktail I would say, maybe the same firebomber on both occasions.
Seems it was quite the colorful house back in the day. I particularly like the wall paper that looked like fireworks.
If houses could tell all , if walls could talk .... wow what a life in pictures and sad or see.
I wouldn’t have opene that fridge though 🤮
There's some others which have been totally vile, I mean rancid. Old food hanging around is one of the bad aspects of exploring.
Or running into a corps hahahahah
