50 Looks of Birds | 鸟儿们的喜怒哀乐

Inspired by Hive friends' recent posts, today I'm going to show you some of my captures of birds, with a focus on their facial expressions.

最近看Hive上有朋友提到愤怒的大鸟和用到笑翠鸟的配图，让我想起拍过的一些鸟儿。它们流露出的表情很丰富，有些看似在沉思，有些好像很绝望，有的无辜，有的迷惘，我觉得很有意思，还是我想象力太丰富？ 今天就来分享几组照片。先从会发出狂狼不羁大笑声的澳洲土著笑翠鸟开始，下面这两只都拍自悉尼的公园。

The first is Kookaburra, a bird native to Australia and New Guinea, famous for its iconic laughing sound. Its name came from the vocal imitation of its call. I took these pictures of 2 different Kookaburras in a park in Sydney. The red gum tree in the photo is also something endemic to Australia. Oh, how I miss the days in Straya! :)

Here comes an angry bird in Machu Picchu. I read that the northern cardinal is the inspiration for Red in Angry Birds. The male ones become as angry as Red when they see others invading their territories. =)

下面这只愤怒的小鸟是我在马丘比丘看到的，它那坚定的表情真让人忍俊不禁，哈哈。据说北美红雀是愤怒鸟的原型，雄性红雀会在其他男鸟侵占它们领土时气得更红~XD
