Travelgirl Finally Found Some Kitchen Items | Travelgirl 終於找到一些廚房用品

Hi Everyone,

It has been months and many products we normally see in our stores are still not available in particulars ones that are imported. I have been wanting to get some baking and kitchen products but haven’t had much luck until recently I was able to source only some of the things I have on my list. These simple products we used to be able to get easily is now something many people would want to get particularly everyone is cooking at home.

最近發現好多日常生活用品都缺貨尤其是在國外運來的產品更越來越少.因為疫情的關係我在家裡嘗試煮不同的菜式所以想添加一些一般廚房用品. 以前可以隨時買到的用品現在都比較困難應該大家都好像我一樣在家中想煮東西廚房用品的需要越來越多但貨就越來越少. 以下就是我最近買到需要的東西.

After weeks of sourcing a proper mixing bowl, I have finally found a decent one at the local supermarket. They had at least 10 of them and when I went again the other day, there were just 3 left. I guess I am not the only one waiting for them to come in. Pyrex is a popular brand for glassware and is known for good quality. Made in France, the selling point for me is the bowl is has extra thick glass and its see-through so I can see how my mixes are going or if I am making a salad, it is presented nicely. Not cheap though, nearly $16 for the bowl but had to get it in case it sell out elsewhere.

找了多個星期終於找到一個大玻璃碗. 在家附近的超市最近看見有十多個玻璃碗但前天去的時候已經剩下三個所以可以想像大家都找同一類的廚房用品. 這個玻璃碗在法國做的質料非常好所以賣$16 我都立刻買回家害怕返回頭會賣完.

The next buy is the wooden chopping board. There are plenty of plastic ones but I really want a wooden one to match some of the other things I have in the kitchen. It is also great to roll flour on and make other baking goods. I found this one from another supermarket and there were only 2 left, another popular item.

第二樣就是買到一個木砧板. 超市裡有好多用膠做但因為想買一個用木造的可以和家裡其他東西配成一套.木砧板亦可以用來做麵粉，非常之好用而且好看

Finally I found these plastic cases for half price! This size always sell out and when I saw them, I had to buy two. I have been making a lot more sponge cake recently as my kids have been addicted to it so the box is a perfect size for the cake - they are pretty big. Who would have thought that this is a popular item. I guess everyone is cooking during COVID19 and these boxes keeps well in the fridge.

最後我找到這兩個大膠箱而且是半價. 這個size非常之搶手所以在超市看見立刻買兩個回家. 近期我在家想做馬拉糕因為兩個小朋友好喜歡食所以這個膠箱的 size 非常適合放一個馬拉糕然後放在雪櫃裡.以前可以隨時買到這些日用品現在好像比較困難買到，我相信是因為疫情的關係大家都在家裏煮飯需要用這些廚房用品.
