Its been a year since i picked up the guitar but i hope to get back to it soon.
This is my own song under the name I+Everything.
It sounds a lot more full on the big guitar but i got the mini guitar today.
The mini guitar is tuned high too so i struggled but I basicaly hit it!

This is really nice apart from the part that my network isn't allowing me to listen to the flow. But I must admit that it's really cool.
The lyrics got me thinking though 🤔 "Life is a mirror reflecting on us" no doubt about that.

Hahahaha no that's my old place. I snuck back in to record because I want to wait a few weeks before pissing my neighbors off with guitar at 10 pm.

Very impressed with the song. You called that a mini-guitar, is that what it really is? At first I thought it was a ukelele, but definitely sounds like a standard guitar range.
Oh and by the way the microphone you used did a great job of picking up the guitar and vocals in my opinion.
I also play guitar, but I have never been able to sing and play at the same time.
What are the requirements of doing a Hive Open Mic? I produce a lot of music now via software, and I was thinking of maybe trying that.

It's a guitar but in A key standard tuning because the strings sound best in A at this length.
Would love to hear your stuff. Singing and playing at the same time is hard. I can only manage cause my songs are rather simple.
The open mic has a theme that @cabelindsay announces every week. You just gotta follow the very few rules he lays out.

yeah of course. I think that might be the last time I played guitar for more than a minute or two! Now that we moved I think it will be easier to play. My guitar is standing in a stand instead of hidden in my closer :-D, and I have a chair to sit in here, unlike my old place that had no space for chairs

It really depends on my mood, I'm trying to get to that place where I'm just having fun and not thinking about the result too much. I got scared away from there last time I toured and I had one show where I forgot how to play guitar cause I was having too much fun. I've had exactly two traumatizing performances hahaha
