Saturday Movie Night || AATYr4 || LarryIsAlive

Despite being short on sleep (I think I fell asleep on my work desk, then got up and moved to the bedroom at almost sunrise), I managed to clock in for day work. Thankfully, the Internet connection seemed fixed. Whew! Uneventful day that somehow felt like it just breezed by. Isn't every day the same anyway? 😂🤣

Since we didn't need to get up early tomorrow, my daughter thought we'd watch two movies tonight. Two different genres, but both rather fascinating. The first movie was called The Outfit. It's a thriller that is set in the 1950s. It's not much of an action-packed film, but we really enjoyed it. The movie is not fast-paced but rather slowly unfolded as we watched. 👍 The second film was Three Thousand Years of Longing. It's more of a fantasy romance film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and seemed to have gathered positive reviews from critics. It's a bit slow-paced with lots of narration, but the various short stories within the main story line were pretty fascinating. Well, I'm glad my daughter chose well for tonight's entertainment. 🤓
