Monday of meetings

This was sunrise on Monday (yesterday) morning as I drew the curtains in my home office to begin the day.

I knew it was to be a busy day: a job to finish and two meetings. The first was about our winter fair. More of that in due course, but one bit of really good news: our liquor license has been approved. Things are coming together.

Then it was back to the office, a bite of lunch and a deadline to meet.

Then, just before sunset last night, members of the McGregor community met to establish a Business Forum. A committee was elected. I am a little jaundiced cautious. In 10 years, I have been involved in starting initiatives in the village that simply have not worked. In this instance, I really hope that I am wrong.

After that, we headed out to extend birthday wishes in person so although my supper was meatfree (it was Monday...) it was delicious but wasn't one of my creations. No pics...

Today, it's balls to the wall nose to the grindstone to get through the to do list. Invoicing day looms.

Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
  • From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

  • Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community by clicking on the logo.

Nose to the grindstone sounds familiar, invoicing in between visiting, normal life carries on, so be it!

Much luck to business forums, younger group now enjoy the connecting and sharing 😄.

Have a productive day!

Thank you, Joan. I do hoe that these folk rise to the occasion.

We have a younger group that really have kept this town connected through the tough times, in security, business and support.
