Selection criteria

All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -

a keenness to learn more about blockchain and crypto
life experiences
musings and memories of lives lived
planning for (and doing) life beyond formal work

Breaking that Holiday Mode

I feel quite privileged to have been able to go on these trips around our beautiful country.
Now I feel I'm still on holiday...Oh boy!...I seemed to have got stuck in that "holiday mode" and just cannot get out of it.

Are any of us exempt from curve balls and unexpected happenings big and small? My answer is no. How many do we get in a lifetime? Maybe some individuals have more unforeseen occurrences than others. Does it depend on how well we learn each lesson to do with change?

is a boy who stole my heart around nine years ago. A boy who I had to give up, breaking the final piece of an already too worn out heart...
but who made his way home to me again last week.

Moving forward! The wake is the disturbed flow, although there is nothing disturbing about the fun being had. I can only imagine riding in his wake, bow rising over the crest, then slamming down in the water. It literally rattles your teeth. They spotted us on the bridge and waved. We waved back.

Flight From London To Budapest

Two years ago my wife and I celebrated our Ruby Wedding anniversary. We decided that we would do something special to celebrate it. We thought about doing a sea cruise, however my wife gets sea sick so we thought it probably wasn't a good idea. We also didn't fancy spending days out at sea with nothing much to look at. So instead we chose to book a river cruise down the Danube from Hungary to Croatia.

Ramping Up 80 Moons

Today somewhat a normal Wednesday, I did shopping which entails a walk around, not quite how I envisioned celebrating my 80 Moons on Hive, late afternoon now time to write!
Yesterday being Woman's Day in South Africa I tottered around the local nursery finding some herb and vegetable seeds with summer around the corner, another seasonal planting out start up kit.
