“A Simple Feast, A Sister’s Love: Celebrating Edmarie’s Special Day"

Holla, holla, hivers!! It's me again, your cutie pie @laizelly😻.

Every year we celebrate a simple celebration on our birthday, and now I would like to share with you our simple celebration—my sister's birthday.

I would like to introduce you to my youngest sister, Edmarie. She's a lovely, gentle, kind, and simple girl. No matter that she's my uncle's daughter, we treat her like my own sister. Mom adopted her, and we totally accept her; we treat her equally with no bias. Papa and Mama recognized her own parents, and I and my other siblings recognize her as our own sister too. We loved her deeply, and it won't change anything. So as an ate, I decided to give her a celebration. She always honors students; that's why I'm so proud of her. Lord, guide her to bright futures.

So let's begin the battle, CHAROTT. let's start!!

Mom and I decide to celebrate her birthday because last year we didn't celebrate it because of lack of money. And now we celebrate it. In a few hours, Mom said we're going to Zapote to buy the ingredients and another dish for our celebration.

Shortly we leave the house, and my sister Donnalyn joins us.

We arrived at Vistamall to wait for the jeep to come, and finally we got it. We ride to Zapote Kabila because the vegetables and other ingredients are low-priced.

Mom buys vegetables, canton, and Bihon; we also buy chicken.

After we're done, we wait again for the jeep because we're going home na ;). Boss gives me my salary, so I decide to buy cake for her. I want her to be happy on her birthday. I know it's simple, but she always appreciates everything I give and treat her to. My sister is always a happy, kind, and caring girl, so she deserves to be happy on her birthday. I buy her a gift 😻. She likes the color red, so I buy her a red t-shirt and a bond for her hair. I wanted to surprise her. I said we didn't make a celebration on her birthday, and I suddenly saw her face sadly.

Shortly we arrived at home carrying the ingredients we bought.
after we got home, we rest for a while and then start to cooked.

The first dish we decide to cook is Pancit. This dish was very familiar to us especially when there's occasion. This one of my mother's specialty—I really love it. Do you know that there is a saying that eating pancit can prolongs life. After my mother finished cook, I picked up the fork to taste what she had cooked and it's really delicious, the moisture, the smell, is so unique than other pancit you can buy at a restaurant. The joy of eating pancit is unexplanable! 😊 It's like the flavor explode inside your mouth! The combination of savory sauce, springy noodles, and various veggies creates a delightful harmony of textures and tastes. Each bite gives incredibly feeling. It's comfort food at its finest!

Next dish we cooked is Tugi—this dish is also one of our favorite, actually all the dish my mother cook is my favorite. This dish with it's yummy flavor makes me satisfied. Eating tugi brings me a sense of nostalgia and comfort, perhaps reminding me of family meals or traditional Filipino dishes— its evoking the feelings of gratitude for this simple but nutritious food. In this moment I really appreciate the little things especially the savor flavors that bring joy and nourishment. After cooking, it is placed in a wrapper and placed in boiling oil. The former is just like Lumpia but nutritious since, we have to face difficulties everyday—like doing household chores, working, or going to school we need a healthy body.

The last dish we cooked was fried chicken. This dish brings a delightfully satisfying experience, with its crispy exterior giving way to juicy, flavorful chicken. The combination of textures and tastes surely awake the feelings of happiness and comfort. Each bite is a pleasure, with the savory flavors and crunchy texture makes me hard to resist and going back for more!

after cooking me and my sister went to Red Ribbon to buy a cake. there are many choices and they all look delicious, of course is there any cake that is not delicious it's so hard to choose it seems like I want to buy everything argh if only I had enough money I would buy the whole shop AHAHHAHAHA kidding.

we also buy 1.5 coke and royal.

When we got home we rested for a while and started the celebration. This day I can say it was really hard to forget. We took pictures as memories and started eating. I took the initiative to open the box of cake we just buy and it looks so delicious. with its vanilla flavor it is really satisfying. Finally, what I had been waiting for. I ate all the dish we cook. This kind of happiness is sometimes worth making the most of every moment filled with laughter, stories, and unstoppable smiles.

I go to the room because I am so sleepy and tired; my body wants to give up, CHAROT🥹.Mama knocked on the door and said we were going to church, so I decided to change my clothes and wear my shoes. We reached our destination, the Lord God. We came inside the church because it started raining na and the mass is starting na.
In a few hours the mass is nearly finished. Jhenly wants to go in the restroom, and I join her.

After we entered the door of the restroom, we saw a big mirror, so we started taking a pic of ourselves. I and Jhenly like pictures no matter if they're ugly HAHHAHA. We went back to our chair and awaited the mass to finish. Then the mass finished. Mama wants to go home because it's already 7pm, but I and Jhenly said we're going to Vistamall again. HEHEH. Mama said, "Okay, go, and cash in nyo narin ako dun."

Jhen and I go to Vistamall to connect to free wifi because we don't have load HAHHA. Dad is still working at night, so we decide to wait for Papa and connect to wifi again. No matter that it's cold outside, we ignored it HUHUHU. Shortly we go home na with Papa.

Simple celebration makes it perfect no matter if the handa is little bit. HEHEHE.

I remember I snapped zoomed photos that made you happy HAHA. I was bored, and then I saw Jhenly's CP, so I snapped them while eating HAHHA. Every time I see it, I always laugh; the angle of the picture is perfect HAHA.
