Hi, friends!
I wrote numerous times that Colin McRae was probably the biggest reason I started with rallying. I mean I started with driving of car at the age of 12 but after I saw Colin's video from WRC Rally Finland 1992, I was kinda sure that I will have to try my rallying career.
I had to wait until the season 2001 to my first rally drive. But that is all because I followed Colin McRae all that time when I was at the University. When you are a student, you don't have the money to compete but that was it.
In this documentary you can see whole his career of rallying. And I must say one more thing: when I saw at CNN in 2007 that he died in the helicopter accident, I was really terrified. I was lying on the bed in our living room at my parent's house and I couldn't believe. My her was dead.
He won only one WRC title and it was with Derek Ringer as a co-driver.
I really don't know why drivers change co-drivers because after he won the crown, he took Nicky Grist for a new co-driver.
Watch this documentary about the real WRC legend and enjoy...
