Ogier leads Monte Carlo Rallye 2021 after day three

in Rally3 years ago

Hi, friends!

Seven-times World Rally Champion Seb Ogier leads Monte Carlo Rallye after blistering time on the first special stage of today where he took more then 17s from the previous leader Elfyn Evans.

Evans is now the 2nd placed driver overall with gap of 13s behind Seb Ogier and tomorrow will be a big battle between both of them.

Third placed is Kalle Rovanpera who is almost one minute behind leader and only if these two guys in front retire, he could win.

From what I heard, tomorrow should be more tarmac and dry special stages and that suits both of them, and less to Rovanpera.

Neuville had probably the hardest rally in the last few seasons after late co-driver change and he is only in the 4th place but he has a big chance to catch Rovanpera in 3rd place.

Sordo is distant 5th and he will play as a pint carrier for the Hyundai works team.

Tanak retired today because of the two punctures and that was a big blow for Hyundai and himself.

Andreas Mikkelsen was the fastest in the Rally2 category and 7th overall at the moment.

Let the best win - a always...
