Plan to win on your lane and not on that of another

It can be so easy to forget the reason you started your journey as a result of the hurdles you are facing. One thing is sure, you can't possibly go off the track for too long if you have a team backing you. I had no idea I had forgotten why I started my business in the first place. And when I decided to take it up from our stop, I started stirring it off the path. This morning, my manager called me to book. When he mentioned, that he doesn't know why I am suddenly asking for different things when that wasn't part of the plan, I had to pause. I said to him, "Goodness me! I think I have even forgotten why I created it. Do you still remember? ".

When he explained, I found out he was right, I did go off track. I started caring about how much we would make instead of the impact or value we will be bringing to the table. And guilt washed over me. I rewind and took the meeting back to the original plan. While adjusting the set plan to fit the newer ones that I brought to play. The meeting ended successfully and everyone knew what it was they needed to do.

I may not be the only one who faces this, and it doesn't necessarily have to be on a business grounds alone. You could be experiencing it too. Somehow even though someone isn't pointing fingers at you, you feel that you have strayed off the path. It could be a result of what the media is feeding you. Making you feel you are not getting anywhere if you do not behave like the rest of the people around you.

One thing that you should know is that your path and that of others are different and even though it looks as though you are running the same race, you are on a different lane completely. The moment you start looking at their lives, making comparisons, or even trying to live like them, you have crossed over into their lane. You already know that even though you win this race, the fact that you did so in another person's lane disqualifies you.

Therefore, whatever it is that you are doing, stop looking at your friends, colleagues, and everyone and comparing yourself to them. Focus on your track, and give all that you can, the universe never forgets the seeds one puts into the ground. The weather might be harsh, and the temperature seems to be unfriendly, one day, the rain will come, and the seeds will germinate. When it does, nurture it, trim the weeds, and watch it grow and blossom.

Maybe, you have already reached the stage where the universe has blessed your seeds, and the rain is here. But you have allowed yourself to compare the length of your plant with that of another, and for this reason, you are discouraged to take care of it. It's unfair to everything that you have worked for so far now. So you shouldn't even be doing this right now. The weeds of disbelief, sadness, hopelessness, fear, anger, hate, jealousy, etc should be pruned off your field.

For the more you allow it to grow, the more difficult it will be to trim them off in the future. ... You might be able to trim them but it will take a lot from you... So you should start tending to your garden now.

When you have recognized that you did stray away from your dreams, goals, and aspirations, and you are willing to make a change, get a support base. Build around people who encourage you to be the best of yourself and stay accountable to them. They will help up when you fall, and stick with you through thick and thin. Most importantly, get the right people on this support team because the right people are your greatest assets.

This article just made me realize the importance of having a team, people who can your attention to your real purpose.

A lot of factors can lead to people getting off track but having a team to caution you is really good. Life is no competition, we all have our unique destinations so there is no point chasing people heading in a different direction.

I am glad you agree. This is why people go through discipleship in the Christiandom. So that those who are training them will always be there to draw them back to the right path if they stray. So, it's applicable to all areas of our lives.

While reading this, my mind began to run wild, accessing possible areas I may have veered off course. I found some, and I want to work on them. It's like the universe keeps trying to pull me out of my shell because everywhere I look now, there's a build a team sign. Lol. And your post, first thing in the morning! Lol. Okay. I'll try to socialize better. Lord have mercy! I came in through Dreemport

Haha.... You seriously need to build a team if you are seeing the signs more often... The universe is trying to pass a message across in a subtle way.

Glad you found this first and it inspired you. Good morning baby. 💚🥰🥰

Dear @iskafan , I agree with you! By the way, I don't know where in my lane.😅
