hi :-) I will come back to leave a better comment but just thought I'd mention re images from Wikipedia...be sure to click on the Wikipedia image which takes you to another page. Then click on more details and read the permissions and licenses and ensure you click on the license link and copy that link to your Hive article so that you can stipulate that the image is from Wikipedia used under Creative Commons license X in this case: Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic (CC BY-SA 2.0) license. the link to the license is below. So the image is free to use if you provide a link to the licence :-)
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/deed.en

Also if you want neater links for your images you can use a set of square brackets to contain the text you want visible followed immediately (no spaces) by two round brackets containing the URL link...like so for your pexel ref:

Hope you find this useful.

@jasedmf! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @samsmith1971. (4/10)

The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want.

@jasedmf, @samsmith1971(4/5) sent you LUV. wallet | market | tools | discord | community | daily

⚠ The LUV command will soon require a limited number of other "!" commands accompany it. Details here.

Thanks once again for the tips. Tidying up the links is a handy skill to master, I must admit that HTML coding is something I'm not all that familiar with.

Your creative writing process sounds very similar to my own Jase. I sit on prompts and ideas and let them roll around inside my head for a couple of days until the spark comes so I can relate to the sudden collision of ideas, the percolating, ruminating, the...

Understanding that all ideas are built differently, capturing them but also allowing them space and time to play in their own boxes.

And then...when the collision occurs...YES! Drop everything if you can....AND WRITE!!! When something takes hold of me, I am carried away and I just need to get it all down. Sometimes I start at the beginning and write chronologically, sometimes I write the end and work backward. A lot of the time with short story pieces, I jump around in the chronology of the text... I often write straight through the night on a piece...and I ALWAYS ALWAYS leave time for my writing to rest... I step back, revisit hours later, days later... I allow my thoughts to mull and ruminate. Clarity and insight almost always arrive to overcome whatever remaining challenges are facing me to enable the completion of the story.

Thank you for sharing this lovely piece. I will drop it into Dreemport again for you today. If you get a chance to read the articles that I dropped to you in your previous post, let me know if you decide to sign up and give it a go. I think your posts would be received well by the community.

No no no, you are not a struggling writer. It takes only an experienced writer to come up with this masterpiece. I have been struggling with ideas for a post in awhile now. So many times, little ideas have flown through me and I didn't capture it. Here you have detailed best ways to keep yourself fresh with ideas and I really find so much value in this.

There really is no perfect idea. It's little bits of ideas turning into something beautiful. I have also doubted my writing and felt like an imposter but each time I go back and read my previous articles I am left speechless at my creation. If I did it before it means I can do it again.

Thank you so much for this post. I enjoyed reading it and yes I've learnt so much from it

Thanks very much for your feedback. I'm glad you found value in my writing and that we share some parallels in our processes.

Yes we do. Great output!

Impostor syndrome hmm I heard about it for the first time and I guess most of the writers fell victim to this.

Thoughts collide

Sometimes they collide in such a way that suddenly you will notice the disappearance of thoughts hehe might be I would be the one having this issue.

You have said they well about the sharing of knowledge, a person from tweet can jump into the book writer but vice versa step can't be done.

Taking rest and rewriting or editing the written stuff hmm it's really good if you want to compose something excellent. I read somewhere "No mercy on editing "
Dreemport dropped me here.

I think the trick to editing (apart from the obvious grammar and spelling checks) is to remove all the extra fluff that ends up in there when you're in that first creative mode. You need to approach the editing ruthlessly. Stephen King usually takes out 10% of his work when he's editing!

@jasedmf :-)
top_5_dreemport_cycle_243

Hi my friend, I though I would share with you that your short story that I shared in Dreemport was ranked in the top 5 for the day in cycle 243 (it ranked 4th!) by the public curators. We'd love it if you would consider signing up and sharing more of your work with the community. Dreemers can earn Dreem tokens for curating and ranking a random daily 5 which enables them to share one of their own posts with the Dreemport community to be curated and ranked by the public. The top 5 also earn additional Dreem tokens. The community/platform allow you to gain more eyes on your content and improve engagement and support between community members. Let me know if you would like some help signing up. It's super easy and quick and complements Hive very nicely.

Thanks for bringing attention to my work, much appreciated Sam. I'll try to take a look at Dreemport soon but have plenty of other obligations at the moment and taking the time to learn another platform is a bit of a squueze.

we will be patient and wait for you 😃 hehehe

💯% completely understand. No pressure. Just wanted to share how it was received on its first outing🤗 !PIZZA
