¡Hola HIVE!!! Aquí llego galopando en mis Caballitos!!!

Mi nombre es Roger Rafael Rodríguez Rodríguez y soy Artista Plástico Venezolano. Nací en la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Lara – Venezuela) en el año de 1976. Desde temprana edad (4 años) mi vocación fue por el arte. Recuerdo claramente mi primer dibujo coloreado… una casita con sus tejas, su chimenea, nubes, árboles y su caminito a la puerta principal. Lo mejor fue que lo coloreé sin salirme de la raya!!!

“My name is Roger Rafael Rodriguez Rodriguez and I am a Venezuelan Plastic Artist. I was born in the city of Barquisimeto (Lara – Venezuela) in 1976. From an early age (4 years old) my vocation was for art. I clearly remember my first colored drawing... a little house with its tiles, its chimney, clouds, trees and its little path to the front door. The best thing was that I angered him without going out of line!!!”

Cuando tuve 6 años de edad se hace más claro mi camino hacia el arte. Fue cuando mi padre me hizo un dibujo en cartulina del prócer venezolano Simón Bolívar sobre su caballo. El dibujo era para la escuela y al ver yo ese trabajo quede maravillado. Entonces me dije: “si mi padre pudo hacerlo, también yo”.

“When I was 6 years old, my path to art became clearer. It was when my father made me a drawing on cardboard of the Venezuelan hero Simon Bolivar on his horse. The drawing was for school and when I saw that drawing I was amazed. So I said to myself: “if my father could do it, I can do it too”.

A la edad de 14 años hice mis primeros estudios de arte en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas Martin Tovar y Tovar ubicada en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Estado Lara, Venezuela. En ese instituto exploré distintas técnicas como la tiza pastel, la acuarela, la tiza pastel, el óleo pastel, la pintura acrílica, la pintura al óleo, la composición artística y el dibujo en mayor profundidad.

“When I was 14 years old I did my first art studies at the Martin Tovar y Tovar School of Plastic Arts located in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela. In that institute I explored different techniques such as chalk pastel, watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, acrylic painting, oil painting, artistic composition and drawing in greater depth”

En el año 1991, cuando tenía 16 años de edad me dedique a pintar a mano franelas con motivos turísticos de mi país Venezuela. Esa actividad la realice hasta el año 2005, cuando me encuentro nuevamente con la pintura artística plástica de la mano de varios amigos artistas plásticos.

“In 1991, when I was 16 years old, I hand-painted t-shirts with tourist landscapes from my country Venezuela. I did this activity until 2005, when I did plastic artistic painting again helped by several plastic artist Friends”

En el año 2006 inicié mi trabajo artístico en el que el caballo se convierte en el protagonista de mi lenguaje plástico, hasta el día de hoy. Caballitos voluminosos, con bastante movimiento y expresando un mundo lúdico lleno de elementos cotidianos de juegos es lo que identifica mi obra, las que realizo con un gusto y amor único.

“In 2006 I began my artistic work in which the horse becomes the protagonist of my plastic language, up to the present. Small bulky horses, with a lot of movement and expressing a playful world full of everyday game elements is what identifies my artistic work, which I do with a unique style and love”

Me gusta el rock (el buen rock je je), la música romántica y la música de vieja data de los años 60 hasta los 90.

Soy amante de la pasta y adicto al café. También me gustan los animales. Tengo 4 perritos y 5 gatos. Desde el año 2020 he estado aprendiendo sobre criptomonedas y las he estado usando mucho, recibiendo pagos en Bitcoin vendiendo mis ilustraciones sobre el mundo cripto.

“I like rock music (good rock he he), romantic music and old music from the 60's to the 90's.

“I am a spaghetti lover and a coffee addict. I also like pets. I have 4 puppies and 5 cats. Since 2020 I have been learning about cryptocurrencies and I have been using them a lot, receiving payments in Bitcoin for my illustrations about the crypto world”

El arte es mi mayor pasión y seguiré viviendo en ella
