Cuántas veces has querido utilizar un equipo, herramienta o electrodoméstico y te das cuenta que no funciona?, Vas en tu carro y éste se apaga repentinamente?; 0 se va la luz y no puedes seguir estudiando o trabajando?.

Seguramente es muy probable que respondas: muchas veces. Cualquiera sea tu respuesta, te invito a que vivas parte de mis vivencias, aventuras y peripecias en esta parte de mi vida, jajajaja. Y dijera alguno de mis hijos, eso no da risa.

Un día sábado, como de costumbre, salí acompañada con uno de mis hijos en mí carro, a realizar actividades típicas del fin de semana. De repente, éste se apagó en medio de la vía. Realicé cómo pude la maniobra de orillarlo con la inercia.

Allí quedó, intenté encenderlo nuevamente y nada. !Oh no puede ser, no funciona!. Realicé varios intentos, grave error. No logré ponerlo en marcha, así que llamé a uno de mis hermanos para que me auxiliara.

Una vez en el sitio, mi hermano, entre pruebas fue descartando las posibles averías. La conclusión que tomó más fuerza y que le parecía más probable, estaba relacionada con la cadena de tiempo, esa fue su apreciación. Y dijo:- debido a que se realizaron varios intentos de encender y poner en marcha el vehículo, el daño puede ser mayor-; esa fueron sus palabras.

Imagínense mi preocupación. En ese momento mi vehículo constituía una de mis herramientas de trabajo más valiosa. Que entre otras cosas, servía de transporte para mis hijos, que todavía estaban en el liceo. Así mismo era necesario para ir a mi trabajo; el cual quedaba al otro extremo de la ciudad. Y en parte me hacía más fácil la vida.

Que problema!, decía. En aquel tiempo aquí en Venezuela había crisis económica y una serie de situaciones muy complejas. Por lo que era difícil reparar el vehículo a corto plazo.

Está claro que nosotros como seres humanos nos vamos adaptando y buscando ingeniosamente la manera de resolver las cosas a medida que se van presentado. Aunque es más fácil decirlo, que ponerlo en práctica. Estás de acuerdo con eso?

Recibí muchos consejos y sugerencias de personas cercanas para solucionar el problema del carro.

Lo primero que hice fue consultar al experto, llevé mi mecánico de confianza al estacionamiento, para que realizara el diagnóstico y en consecuencia el presupuesto para la reparación.

La hipótesis de mi hermano resultó cierta, se había roto la Cadena de Tiempo, y hubo daños en la válvulas por los intentos de encender y mover el carro.

Se desarmó el motor, se separaron las piezas buenas de las malas, se guardó en un sitio seguro el resto de los componentes y piezas. Por último, se hizo la lista de todo lo que requería comprar y lograr poner el carro nuevamente a funcionar.

Durante tres meses compré los repuestos según la lista dada por el mecánico. Sólo faltaba la rectificación de la Cámara.

Un día de aquellos del cuál no me quiero acordar, jajajaja parece tomado de un cuento. Sucedió que tocaron a mi puerta un grupo de vecinos para darme la noticia que a mí carro lo habían dejado sin cauchos.

Cuando vi aquel panorama, cómo decimos por aquí, mí carro pegado del piso, me impresionó. Respiré profundo. Hoy en día recuerdo asombrada, que mi reacción de aquel día fue pensar y decir: otra cosa más que resolver.

Recuerdo que ese día mis vecinos me ayudaron, los más cercanos me prestaron sus cauchos de repuestos, y con la ayuda de una grúa trasladé el carro al estacionamiento de la casa de mi mamá, que era techado y cerrado.

Allí quedó por algún tiempo más, en cuatro bloques. Posteriormente logré arreglar el problema del motor, al fin. Sólo faltaban los cuatro cauchos. Realicé gestiones para cauchos usados y nuevos, pero la verdad se me escapaba de mi presupuesto en aquellos días.

I remember that day my neighbors helped me, the closest ones lent me their spare tires, and with the help of a crane I moved the car to the parking lot of my mother's house, which was roofed and closed.

It remained there for some more time, in four blocks. Later I managed to fix the engine problem, finally. The only thing missing were the four tires. I made arrangements for used and new tires, but the truth was beyond my budget in those days.

Se presentó la oportunidad de venderlo en esas condiciones y no dudé en hacerlo. Decisión que tomé y hoy en día pienso que fue lo mejor.

Asi que, cuando algo ha dejado de funcionar en mi casa; como por ejemplo: se quemó el motor de la nevera, problemas con la lavadora, el agua no llega, la luz se va, el gas se acaba, no funciona el Internet, los bombillos y electrodomésticos se queman; lo primero que me viene a la mente y digo Oh, no puede ser!, No Funciona!.

Me las he ingeniado, eso sí. Y he aprendido mucho Jajajaja. En esta parte de mi vida lo que he tratado de hacer es, darle la vuelta y qué significa esto para mí? . Tener la mejor actitud para enfrentar este tipo de dificultades. Además de poner en práctica lo que aprendí en mi profesión.

Como por ejemplo, una de ellas es buscar alternativas de solución y les confieso que ponerlo en práctica no es tan fácil. Pero a mí me ha ayudado y aunque todavía me falta mucho por arreglar; cada vez que puedo, lo hago.

Por lo que quiero compartir con ustedes algunas cosas que aplico cuando me encuentro que algo no funciona. Espero le sirva a ustedes también.

. Respirar profundo y relajarse. Esto me ayuda a pensar con claridad y tomar mejores decisiones.

. Tener paciencia. En medio de tantos desafíos creo que la paciencia es clave.

. Establecer prioridades. Lo primero es lo primero. Debemos poner criterios de atención, cómo por ejemplo: aspectos esenciales para la vida como es alimentación y nuestra salud.

. Buscar opciones o alternativas menos costosas pero de calidad.

. Gestionar los recursos tanto de personas y económicas.

. Debemos repetir esto tantas veces cómo sean nuestras situaciones y circunstancias.

He aprendido que siempre hay solución a los problemas y lo que es mejor, tener nuestra mejor disposición y actitud para enfrentarlos.
